Florida to San Jose California, 1964 Corvette, 1986 timeframe
Florida to San Jose in a 1964 Corvette. My buddy spent every penny he had buying it with nothing left over for a tune-up or fresh tires before we took off. (Mistake #1) He picked me up @ Hartsfield in Atlanta at 2 a.m, (long before cellphones....coordinating my late arrival was difficult) we ate at a Waffle House at 3 a.m. and off we went. It was to be all blue highways, back roads, 2-lanes, no interstates or national chain restaurants from that point forward. A copy of “Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance” was to be our Bible. We saw innumerable "See Rock City" signs and drove through the apparent fireworks capital of the free world @ the Georgia/TN border. The damn Vette kept breaking down, first a clutch in Nashville, later a U-joint near Clarksville. Carb troubles in Nevada. I remember we saw “Weird Science” at the Clarksville theater, long before theaters were all 24-plexes. Afterwards at a bar we told a pair of local ladies we were “Location Agents” in town scouting sites for a film that was going to be shot there. Remember, this was pre-HIV... We were looking for a LAKE that the SUN came up over in the East.......\snicker, snicker** What surprised us most were the full size satellite TV dishes behind every farmhouse across America. From nothing to 250+ channels with nothing but a check and a bootleg converter. Rural America had gotten wired. Well, dished. News, or what passed for it, was now broadcast 24 hours a day. (Mistake #2?) Mosquitoes ate us alive at some state park in Arkansas where we’d foolishly chosen to camp rather than get a cheap motel room. We had a cassette walkman to pass the time before sleep came. The waitress at the one cafe in some lonely small town in Kansas assured us “Charlie,” the Frito Lay guy, came by EVERY DAY to refill the rack. We've joked about "Charlie" ever since. We trailed a shiny stainless Kraft tanker truck across the loneliest highway in America, drafting for better fuel mileage, until he locked up the brakes and turned down a deserted dirt road. Trust me. There were no cows, and no dairies down that road. Must have been Area 51, or something else, cause a “milk truck” had no business being there. Fortunately we just missed creaming his rear bumper. By this point we were getting around 7 mpg's belching black smoke , until a “19 year Chevy dealership mechanic” in a tiny town in the middle of east nowhere, Nevada, told us “No problem, one bowl on your Holley double pumper has sagged, I’ll file it flat and double gasket it and we were on our way again having barely finished lunch, back into, barely, double digit gas mileage. It was AS IF he had been placed there, just for us. We camped among the stars in a mountaintop State Park near Eloy, Nevada, decided THIS was the place to hang out after nuclear war. You could see cars approaching from 50 miles away. Big cave, glacier full of icemelt pure water, deer everywhere. Survival city. The gubbmit was inexplicably stringing wire and fiber-optic cables into the cave. Maybe they had the same idea. A tiny casino with two slot machines and some serious alcoholics was Eloy's entertainment offering. It seemed at every breakdown we ran into JUST the right person to fix the ‘64 for us, although the 10 pound metal glove box door continued slamming into my knees all the way to San Jose. @#$@!!!! Everywhere we went there was someone wanting to talk to us about the burnt orange, white-striped Vette. Either a parent had owned one, a neighbor or their friend had owned one, or a good friend / cousin had died crashing one. We heard, or shall I say endured, endless Vette stories. (As I do again today, it’s the price of admission). A fourth and final flat occurred near Lake Tahoe. I was ready to pull my hair out at Dave's frugality. Stopping at endless gas stations looking for ANY used tire that would fit. We were running for home at that point, late on our schedule. I think we did the final 200 miles without a spare. A fly fishing trip on the South Fork of the North something river outside Denver had been the hi-light of the trip, along with an impromptu color TV repair at the cabin. My buddy pulled a trout out on his first cast, having never fished before. "To catch a fish one must THINK like a fish" he had pontificated,..... and then proceeded to JUST DO IT. Rest of us were amazed. I got skunked by a noob! A cold solder joint in an old TV was repaired with a nail, held in Vice-Grips, heated red hot over a stove burner. Instantly the football field was green once again. My companion impressed the shit out of me with that piece of wizardry. Forty years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday. We ultimately had to do about 17 miles on an Interstate somewhere in Utah. No way around. There are no road trips to be had, no stories to be gained, blasting 80mph on a superslab and eating in chain restaurants. Never have been, never will be. 2-lanes, diners, cafe's, that's where you see and talk to America. We learned to take the road less traveled and to take ALL the time needed with everyone who had a story to tell us. We didn't take nearly enough (film) pictures. Mistake #3.

Background of Robins: Robins AFB was created in the 1940s, it was named after Brig Gen Augustine Warner Robins. It is centrally located in Middle Georgia and is about 100 miles south of Atlanta. The mission and main reason why the base still exists today is because of the JSTARS radarecon aircraft. Plus, the base provides jobs to over 18K civilians and the city of Warner Robins would not exist if the base closed.
Getting to Base:
If you’re familiar with using Google Map/GPS to help you get to a military base, it can be difficult to find an open gate without your GPS telling you to turn/U-Turn into a closed gate! Put in your GPS, “Martin’s BBQ, 102 S Armed Forces Blvd, Warner Robins, GA 31088.” It will take you to Watson Blvd and to the only 24hr gate; Watson Gate. This is also the gate to get visitor passes for your friends/family. The other gate you’ll be using a lot is Russell gate which is connected to Russell Pkwy. I’ll be assuming you’re driving from the Atlanta airport, so south of Highway 247. GPS the “Museum of Aviation” and about 100 yards before you arrive at the MoA, exit right to Russell Gate. Note, Russell Gate closes at 2400 (0100 on Fri and Sat only) and opens up at 0430 on weekdays and 0500 on the weekends. Hours subject to change, check online for more specific hours! Green Gate and MLK Gate are two other notable gates mainly for inbound and outbound traffic in the morning rush/afternoon rush.

Notable Cities:
Warner Robins - The main city outside of Robins AFB is Warner Robins. WR will be referenced a lot while you are here at Robins. WR can be summed up in a few words as a small-sized southern city with churches and chain restaurants. The city consists of two main counties; Houston (pronounced “House Ton” and not “Hugh’s Town.” People will correct you on this!) and Peach County. Macon - Located about 15 miles north of Robins AFB/Warner Robins. Macon has a lot of history and is nicknamed the “Heart of Georgia” because it is in the center of GA. Honestly IMO, Macon is pretty ghetto… What happened to Macon is similar to Detroit.. Both places were once thriving industrial cities until their main asset collapsed. You’ll see a lot of abandoned buildings when you drive to downtown Macon. It is pretty sad. There are some nice areas in Macon to visit though, like around Zebulon Road. I’d still recommend going downtown to eat at some nice mom and pop stores. Make sure to never go alone, however. Savannah - Located about 2 ½ hours to 3 hours South-East/East of Robins. It is the #1 “Most Haunted” city in the United States apparently. It is really fun to visit. Eat seafood and go on some ghost tours while you’re there. The #3 Ice Cream Shop in the U.S. is in Savannah, Leopolds, if you love ice cream. The vibe can be described as a cross between Florida and South Carolina and “hipster-ish” thanks to SCAD there. Be prepared to walk a lot. Free parking on the weekends! Almost every store gives military discounts since there is an Army Base nearby. Give yourself 3 days and 2 nights to really have a grasp and enjoy Savannah. Atlanta - The capital of GA and the place to be! It is located about 100 miles north of Robins which takes about 2 ½ hours to drive, thanks to the good ol’ Atlanta traffic! There is an abundant amount of things to do and sightsee that I will talk about later in this post.
Food: For fellow Airmen who’ve been stationed here before, you can probably side with my next statement… And that is the food in WR.... can be described as average southern food with average hospitality across the board. There are some hidden/great gems in WMacon, however…
Owen’s Boarding House is one of my favorite mom and pop stores in WR and it's really close to the base for a quick lunch! Owen’s is an all-you-can-eat lunch-only southern restaurant, dig in those chicken wings! It’s about $10.50, cash only. The Rookery, in downtown Macon, is one you’ll hear a lot of. It is an old southern/burger joint. The store has a fancy dining upstairs; The Dovetail, if you’re into that. Martin's BBQ, I referenced it earlier as a good point to locate Robins AFB but it is also a popular BBQ! WR really loves Mexican food, and so do I! Taco Shed is next to the Museum of Aviation, it is American Mexican food. Salsa’s which is a dining American Mexican restaurant. My Grandma’s Empanadas and Luis for more authentic Mexican food. Cuban Cafe sells pretty good Cuban food. Tacos and More, I wasn't a huge fan of it but one of the comments mentioned it and it does sell $1 tacos, try it out! Wasn't a fan of Saigon Noodle in WR, its close to base, which is why I believe their portions are small for a Vietnamese place. Plus, the Pho soup has MSG! Pho Saigon in Macon is great, however. Good portions, and no MSG in their soups! Stir King is a nice American Chinese place which gives good portions. I am not a fan of the “Japanese” food in WR, better go to Atlanta for real sushi and ramen. Also… screw all of WR’s Hibachi restaurants. I did not mention any corporate/franchise restaurants since you may already be familiar with them and only want to mention the mom n pop stores.
Dorm Life: You will be assigned a dorm room with a suite-mate and will have to share a bathroom and kitchen. (Note, not all dorms have a kitchen.) You have to stay in the dorms for at least 3 years TIS and not TOS, which is good.
They’re also “Senior Airmen” dorms for Airmen who’ve stayed longer in the dorms. Essentially, a SrA dorm is a larger dorm with no suite-mate and no kitchen. If the dorms have no availability, Airmen with the longest TOS (Time-on-Station) will be allowed to leave early. You can ask regularly if the dorms are full and maybe you can leave ahead of others. Certain circumstances can allow you to leave the dorms early such as being a mature age (like over the age of 30) or being married but your spouse is currently living elsewhere due to service, school, etc. My personal experience: I lived in the dorms and I would describe the overall experience as “okay.” It can be hit or miss with a good suite-mate and your dorm might have mold in them... I didn’t though. Typically activities of dorm airmen include going clubbing, the gym, and/or playing video games. Overall, I enjoyed living in the dorms because of the access to network with other Airmen, not cooking my own food, because of the DEFAC, and friends were just close by.
Housing: If you’re looking to buy/rent a house, make sure to DYOR and see it’s what you like. The BAH rate for the local area is... fair. If you choose to live by yourself you can make $100-200 extra a month based on where you choose to stay. Very common to find a roommate so you can start pocketing anywhere from $300 to $400.
I lived in Warner Robins after I moved off base from the dorms, and the area was okay. Generally speaking, the further you live off base, (and this goes for all military bases) the safer the environment becomes. If you’re wanting to live in a nicer area and/or have kids. Look into living in cities Kathleen and/or Bonaire. The area and school system (like Houston County High School) is much nicer than the rest of the public school system. Cities like Perry and Bryon have far commutes of at least 20 minutes but can be described as “rural” if like not knowing your neighbors. IMO, please do yourself a favor and do not live off or near Green St. (Hint. It’s right off Green St Gate!) I would also not recommend living in Macon. Imma be real and say Macon is pretty ghetto in most parts of the city (unless you live off Zebulon Rd) and the commute to work is going to be at least 20 mins to work. Edit: Forgot to mention Riverside in Macon. It is still relatively new and the area is nice and so are the neighborhoods. The Riverside Mall is an outdoor mall, very safe and clean. Don't go to the Macon Mall, however. Essentially, South-West of Warner Robins is the best place to live. Where Feagin Mill Rd and Highway 96 is.
Base Housing: Base Housing has really tanked in the last few years, and I mean... the ABW Wing Commander, Command Chief, and multiple First Shirts were involved recently with Base Housing because living conditions have been subpar. Mold has been breaking out in some houses and maintenance work orders take weeks to a few months to resolve. Of course, this is only happening for the Turner Park residency (cough where the Enlisted stay cough) The Officers housing is very nice, however. Now, with that being said, it’s still a 3-month wait to get base housing because of the simplicity and not having to worry about finding a house, short commute to work, safety, etc.
Off Base Housing community is called Huntington Chase, it’s ghetto from what my co-workers have told me as they’ve gunshots go off frequently and cars are breaking into. Off-Base housing is open to civilians and not just military.
Things To Do:
Coca Cola Factory - Entry is free for military (does not include dependents) and it is a nice place to go on a date. Try flavors of coke from around the world! Aquarium - IMO, the experience felt it was geared towards children, I would only pay during special military days because $33 is not worth the visit! Atlanta Zoo - Never been but it is another sight seeing opportunity. Dragon Con - A.K.A. “Comic Con of the East.” Where 80k of your “best friends” come meet in a 4-day comic/pop culture/movie/ convention which spans across 5 hotels! Most people get turned off when they hear “comic” as they associate this con with sweaty nerds… Well, they aren’t wrong! But I can guarantee you’ll be missing out if you did not attend this con at least once while you’re at Robins. Even if you don’t love comics, movies, anime, or pop culture (who doesn’t like at least one of the 4?) you can open drink in public for the duration of the con! It is always during Labor Day weekend every year. And if you don’t mind paying for the price of a host hotel, they’re worth it. Good luck because they get booked fast! Anime Weekend Atlanta - An Anime Con that specializes on having Japanese pop/rock stars to play in the con! MomoCon - An Anime Con that specializes in 24hour gaming/arcade gaming for the entire weekend! Ponce City Market - A hipster food and shopping market that used an abandoned factory as their shopping district. Please do yourself a favor and park in Ponce City Market’s parking and not try to get “free” parking from the plaza across the street. You’ll get a “boot” on your car when you come back and have to pay a fine… Ask me how I figured that out... Caffeine and Octane - A huge car meet in Atlanta that meets regularly. Mardi Gras: The drive to Louisiana is about 6 hours but I know some Airmen who made the trip to be there for Mardi Gras. Florida: The drive will take at least 3 hours to cross the Florida border. Florida is fun, do I need to say more? Professional Sports: Altanta Hawks, Braves, and Falcons! Look for special discounts near Veterans days like Hoops for Troops. The Falco Don’t forget to check the ITT office for free or reduce price activities for “single Airmen!” Seriously, I’ve gone skydiving, deep sea fishing, paintballing, etc for free or reduced prices! 50% of Disney Park passes! Obviously, there are more things to do than the list I provided, DYOR and maybe you’ll find a place and/or hidden gem you’ll love!
Nightlife: Go to Downtown Macon for entry level clubs like the Crazy Bull. It’s free for the military to get in. They are always new clubs opening and small clubs closing. Try them all! First Fridays of the month are pretty lit. For the rest of the month, the clubs are kinda empty unless it's a special day like Halloween or St Patricks. Again, don’t go by yourself when you go to downtown Macon. If you and a couple of friends want a better club experience, carpool to Atlanta and go clubbing there. Other than that, there isn’t a strong club scene while being in Middle GA.
Closing Thoughts:
A lot of your co-workers will most likely talk crap about Robins. Well, they’re probably the same salty Airmen who put Robins AFB, 9th, on their dream sheet and how trying to figure out how Eglin or Macdill wasn’t chosen even though it was #1 and #3 on their dream sheet. But even if they aren’t those types of Airmen.... Robins is one of those “what you make of it bases.” You. Yes you, Airman, have to create your own experiences and be willing to leave your dorm and not be a dorm rat to make memories at Robins. This base isn’t centrally located to anything known for “fun” like all the bases in San Antonio, all Florida bases, Travis, Keesler and the casinos, etc. Even that hot A1C still has to make an effort to venture out and explore new roads and can’t rely on other people to do it for them. “Robins-ism.” For whatever reason, “Robin-ism” is basically AFIs and the proper order of how to do things in the Air Force... does not apply the same for Robins. You’ll hear a lot of “that’s not how we did that at my last base.” People say it's because the amount of civilians outnumbers the military 3:1. And with that, if the civilians don’t like the AFI/protocol, it will slowly but surely die out and a “Robin-ism” method of how to do things soon takes over. I am not blaming the large civilian population, it is just what Airmen accept is the reason why some people on this base can be lazy at times. Allergies. If you never experienced allergies or have in the past. Well, Warner Robins has a surprise for you... Seriously, you could potentially suffer from bad allergies. I hope you found this review helpful if you're incoming to Robins whether it'd be a PCS or TDY, or if you just wanted to read my review. Edit: Added more info. Cities like Perry and Bryon have far commutes of at least 20 minutes but can be described as “rural” if like not knowing your neighbors. IMO, please do yourself a favor and do not live off or near Green St. (Hint. It’s right off Green St Gate!) I would also not recommend living in Macon. Imma be real and say Macon is pretty ghetto in most parts of the city (unless you live off Zebulon Rd) and the commute to work is going to be at least 20 mins to work. Edit: Forgot to mention Riverside in Macon. It is still relatively new and the area is nice and so are the neighborhoods. The Riverside Mall is an outdoor mall, very safe and clean. Don't go to the Macon Mall, however. Essentially, South-West of Warner Robins is the best place to live. Where Feagin Mill Rd and Highway 96 is.
Base Housing: Base Housing has really tanked in the last few years, and I mean... the ABW Wing Commander, Command Chief, and multiple First Shirts were involved recently with Base Housing because living conditions have been subpar. Mold has been breaking out in some houses and maintenance work orders take weeks to a few months to resolve. Of course, this is only happening for the Turner Park residency (cough where the Enlisted stay cough) The Officers housing is very nice, however. Now, with that being said, it’s still a 3-month wait to get base housing because of the simplicity and not having to worry about finding a house, short commute to work, safety, etc.
Off Base Housing community is called Huntington Chase, it’s ghetto from what my co-workers have told me as they’ve gunshots go off frequently and cars are breaking into. Off-Base housing is open to civilians and not just military.
Things To Do:
Coca Cola Factory - Entry is free for military (does not include dependents) and it is a nice place to go on a date. Try flavors of coke from around the world! Aquarium - IMO, the experience felt it was geared towards children, I would only pay during special military days because $33 is not worth the visit! Atlanta Zoo - Never been but it is another sight seeing opportunity. Dragon Con - A.K.A. “Comic Con of the East.” Where 80k of your “best friends” come meet in a 4-day comic/pop culture/movie/ convention which spans across 5 hotels! Most people get turned off when they hear “comic” as they associate this con with sweaty nerds… Well, they aren’t wrong! But I can guarantee you’ll be missing out if you did not attend this con at least once while you’re at Robins. Even if you don’t love comics, movies, anime, or pop culture (who doesn’t like at least one of the 4?) you can open drink in public for the duration of the con! It is always during Labor Day weekend every year. And if you don’t mind paying for the price of a host hotel, they’re worth it. Good luck because they get booked fast! Anime Weekend Atlanta - An Anime Con that specializes on having Japanese pop/rock stars to play in the con! MomoCon - An Anime Con that specializes in 24hour gaming/arcade gaming for the entire weekend! Ponce City Market - A hipster food and shopping market that used an abandoned factory as their shopping district. Please do yourself a favor and park in Ponce City Market’s parking and not try to get “free” parking from the plaza across the street. You’ll get a “boot” on your car when you come back and have to pay a fine… Ask me how I figured that out... Caffeine and Octane - A huge car meet in Atlanta that meets regularly. Mardi Gras: The drive to Louisiana is about 6 hours but I know some Airmen who made the trip to be there for Mardi Gras. Florida: The drive will take at least 3 hours to cross the Florida border. Florida is fun, do I need to say more? Professional Sports: Altanta Hawks, Braves, and Falcons! Look for special discounts near Veterans days like Hoops for Troops. The Falco Don’t forget to check the ITT office for free or reduce price activities for “single Airmen!” Seriously, I’ve gone skydiving, deep sea fishing, paintballing, etc for free or reduced prices! 50% of Disney Park passes! Obviously, there are more things to do than the list I provided, DYOR and maybe you’ll find a place and/or hidden gem you’ll love!
Nightlife: Go to Downtown Macon for entry level clubs like the Crazy Bull. It’s free for the military to get in. They are always new clubs opening and small clubs closing. Try them all! First Fridays of the month are pretty lit. For the rest of the month, the clubs are kinda empty unless it's a special day like Halloween or St Patricks. Again, don’t go by yourself when you go to downtown Macon. If you and a couple of friends want a better club experience, carpool to Atlanta and go clubbing there. Other than that, there isn’t a strong club scene while being in Middle GA.
Closing Thoughts:
A lot of your co-workers will most likely talk crap about Robins. Well, they’re probably the same salty Airmen who put Robins AFB, 9th, on their dream sheet and how trying to figure out how Eglin or Macdill wasn’t chosen even though it was #1 and #3 on their dream sheet. But even if they aren’t those types of Airmen.... Robins is one of those “what you make of it bases.” You. Yes you, Airman, have to create your own experiences and be willing to leave your dorm and not be a dorm rat to make memories at Robins. This base isn’t centrally located to anything known for “fun” like all the bases in San Antonio, all Florida bases, Travis, Keesler and the casinos, etc. Even that hot A1C still has to make an effort to venture out and explore new roads and can’t rely on other people to do it for them. “Robins-ism.” For whatever reason, “Robin-ism” is basically AFIs and the proper order of how to do things in the Air Force... does not apply the same for Robins. You’ll hear a lot of “that’s not how we did that at my last base.” People say it's because the amount of civilians outnumbers the military 3:1. And with that, if the civilians don’t like the AFI/protocol, it will slowly but surely die out and a “Robin-ism” method of how to do things soon takes over. I am not blaming the large civilian population, it is just what Airmen accept is the reason why some people on this base can be lazy at times. Allergies. If you never experienced allergies or have in the past. Well, Warner Robins has a surprise for you... Seriously, you could potentially suffer from bad allergies. I hope you found this review helpful if you're incoming to Robins whether it'd be a PCS or TDY, or if you just wanted to read my review. Edit: Added more info.

Most Yankees are familiar with Las Vegas as the popular tourist spot to hit up when you are 21 for gambling and other debauchery. But the origins of "Sin City" go back to 1906 when saloons on Block 16 (located between First Street between Ogden and Stewart Avenue) began serving liquor without licensing restrictions and offered patrons the warming comfort of prostitutes. The first casino was opened in 1931, and the first casino on The Strip was opened ten years later. Vegas is inextricably tied to mafia crime, with notorious mafioso, Bugsy Siegel, running the Flamingo casino from 1945 to 1947. Vegas' colorful history and relative calm over the past few years was unfortunately recently disrupted by the now deadliest modern-day mass shooting in the United States. As we move towards healing and recovery, hopefully Vegas can find ways to mourn the loss while retaining its free spirit. Nevada is not just Vegas, but also home to Area 51, the Hoover Dam, and part of the Sierra Nevadas. I had this very long post that was going to be part 2 about Atlantis and this was going to be part 3 since this deserves its own post but after it was almost finished, my power went out briefly and I lost the entire thing. So I've been recovering from that loss to say the least as I had made some amazing connections in the process of writing it as is what usually happens to me and I hope I can remember them all so I can rewrite it after this. Since the Superbowl is today, this should have already been out so I am doing this first.
Superbowl LIII (53) is today and that means millions of eyeballs and consciousnesses will all be focused on a single event. Seems like a good time to harvest that energy into something doesn't it? If you've ever been to a football game, especially one with a rabid fanbase, you can almost feel the energy of the stadium with the ups and downs of the game. Players will speak about this as well, getting fueled by the crowd. If this is the case, then could something else be fueled by all that energy as well? A city rife with phoenix symbolism, rising from the ashes. The Falcons akin to a phoenix and the Egyptian god Horus. They even have a female football team called Phoenix. What does the phoenix at its core represent? Death and rebirth. Transformation. Moving from one area to the next with the idea of shedding the old and bringing in the new. Since it's obvious which team represents the Ram in this story, how would the Patriots represent the goat? Tom Brady. Often referred to as the greatest of all time or the GOAT. This isn't just an off the cuff nickname either, it's thrown around quite often to the point of there being several depictions as him as a goat and the Patriots logo itself. We want 666 Tom Brady and the Patriots themselves are known for being cheaters (I have no opinion, I don't really watch football) yet they continue to win. So how does this relate to anything meaningful going on the real world? Who might the goat and the ram represent? Tom Brady is a known Trump supporter. Trump and the Patriots might as well be permanently linked. People even love to hate the Patriots, especially now that Trump is linked to them. Trump even has huge problems with California making this even more interwoven with him personally. And just like in the story, one is from the west and the other is from the east. Although I believe they are switched here. Trump is also a cheater who continues to win all the time.

This chapter is obviously a different expanded on version of the previous chapter about the 4 kingdoms, the last one being made of iron with feet mixed with clay. There are a few different ancient "day of the dead" type festivals in the coming months. Samhain is an ancient Gaelic festival of the dead that was celebrated the same as Halloween. This is thought to be the festival that a lot these Halloween type holidays are actually based on. The date and meaning for which has been changed and shifted around a lot but one of these dates has caught my eye as its right in the middle of 2 dates I think are going to be very important this year. April 19th, 20th and the 21st. Passover, All Saints Day for the Irish and Easter. Passover is the day in which the Jewish people celebrate their god Yahweh rescuing them from Egypt by killing the first born sons. In order to not be killed themselves, they were told to wipe lamb's blood on their doors so that this angel of death would "passover" them. Well Aries, the Ram, just so happens to be the first sign in the zodiac. Since I have identified Yahweh with the ram (I think he's many things and even this goat vs ram is something akin to pro wrestling and a case where you hope they both end up killing each other as neither are a good choice) it would make sense that the "lords sacrifice" would be handed over to the goat after he kills the ram. Are we also about to have another Exodus type event here in America as well? I had also predicted Prince Harry and Meghan's baby to be born during this weekend back in October. Twins where one would die and the other would be a red headed female. If this does indeed happen (with the twins), we may never even know as I doubt they would tell us but something else about this that could relate to the book of Revelations.

Is Meghan the woman in this story? Are one of the twins this male child? The Greek meaning for "caught/snatched up" means "to seize, snatch, obtain by robbery. From a derivative of haireomai; to seize. So its saying that God stole this woman's baby. Afterwards, the dragon gets cast down to earth and tries to drown the woman in a river but she is saved and goes into the wilderness. Oddly enough, we never hear of this woman again and never find out who she is. This story actually makes no sense under any lens. First Satan, the dragon, was said to be cast out at the beginning of creation. Second, the prevailing idea is that the woman is Mary and the Baby is Jesus but this makes no sense either. Jesus always existed (I'm just going by what the Bible says for sake of argument) and if this was him being born on Earth, then it completely contradicts the Gospels. This story is completely out of line with the entire Bible. Unless this is the recycling of the Messiah process. Meaning every so many years, a new messianic figure is born to "save" the people and become that generations hero. You can see this throughout many myths. This would also contradict the entire Bible but its the only thing that makes sense to me. This story of 2 factions of non-human being fighting over the earth using their sons goes all the back to ancient Hittite stories where one is a giant rock god who even comes out of the sea like one of the beasts in Revelations. A male child being snatched up to heaven would also be in line with Passover and killing of the first born son. 4/19 is the day the American Revolution began in 1775 with an American victory in Concord during the battles of Lexington and Concord. With the Patriots being from Boston, home of Plymouth Rock, this entire Superbowl is overflowing with the death/rebirth motif. April 20th will be the 130th birthday of Hitler and the 20th anniversary of the infamous school shooting known simply as Columbine. A columbine is a dove or a pigeon. Like the spirit of God that descended on Jesus when he was baptized in the Bible. This is also the Irish All Saints Day which is just a Christianized version of the Ancient Celtic festival Samhain moved to this date to avoid any associations with it. Samhain has all sorts of crazy stories attached to it, many relevant to what we may actually see in the future as well as to the story of Hercules and Atlantis. This was the time of the year thought to be where spirits from other worlds would come into ours to interact with us us in various ways. Some good and some bad. There's stories of child sacrifices, ritualized killings of kings, people having visions of the future, and the idea that someone would be killed to "mark the occasion by persons unknown." There's even a story about a king meeting his death after breaking certain taboos and he is forewarned of his incoming fate by 3 undead horsemen who were sent by the god of the dead. Who just so happens to be named Donn. There just so happens to be a depiction of 3 "horsemen" etched into the side of whats called Stone Mountain near Atlanta. Spring seems to be full of ancient festivals involving sacrifice, including men and children. April 21st will be Easter. The celebration of Jesus's resurrection from dead. The "rebirth" part of the cycle in the meaning behind the number 8. What if he receives "a deadly head wound but did live" like the Beast from the Sea in the book of Revelation is said to have and he seems to have magically been "resurrected" like Jesus? You see that rock formation directly behind the tomb? Ever since I saw this picture, that formation has caught my attention. I don't know if Trump will be the one who emerges but if the movie "The Gate" is any indication, killing Trump would possibly open up these so called portals or gates to other worlds and allow certain beings to come fully through. And where could this possibly happen? Well the first and obvious choice is Antarctica. The Hollow Earth theory, which is very prevalent in these Masonic predictive movies and books, says that at the poles, are giant tunnels leading to the inside of the earth with all sorts of beings inside. Antarctica is currently thawing out right now and they just discovered a giant void deep down underneath the ice. Keeping with the idea that a lot of the Bible is inverted, what if hell isn't really fire? How exactly do you "bound" beings with chains into a land of fire? If these are spirits, how would fire even hurt them and if they're biological, the fire would eventually kill them. What state could you bound a biological entity in where they wouldn't die but they couldn't escape either. You know the common saying "When hell freezes over"? Maybe thats the joke, hell already is frozen over because thats what hell is, being frozen in ice, trapped in your body neither alive or dead. Apparently freezing yourself for a future date is becoming more and more a realistic option. There's a TV show from the 60s where this idea becomes very relevant.
Following up a clue found on a dead agent Steed and Miss King pose as a married couple, enabling them to infiltrate the Alpha Academy, where they claim they wish to enroll their 'son'. Well, these are polar opposites in some cases but the turtle being some sort of messenger or bridge between us and the other dimensions seems to be strongly indicated here. Calculating the exact path of 'Oumuamua took about a week. The math showed it was an object from beyond — way, way beyond. Its orbit was "unbound" or loop-less, and it was making a checkmark-shaped trip through the solar system. It had entered from above the plane of the solar system, dipped close to and below the sun, and was exiting out the top.
It's times like this when the reason I post what seem like completely irrelevant things becomes more clear. I noticed a theme of the goddess Nike so I posted a video about the history of the Nike swoosh. Since then, I found one randomly on top of a building in NY along the line where the HK splits Columbus circle (and no, its not a Nike store) and theres one in in the background of the mechanical display of the fall of Atlantis in a casino in Vegas. Then you can see how the logo for Aquaman relates to both as I had already thought that it looked like a ship passing over you as if you were underwater and it was on the surface of the water. Thats a statue of Nike in Paris called "Winged Victory of Samothrace". The yellow object next to it is apparently Nibryu. The person who came up with this design (no idea who or what exactly his logic was) claims that Nibryu is not a star or a planet but a spaceship and the source of what causes these Earth ending cataclysms. I'm just now making this connection and I don't think thats a coincidence either. The goddess of VICTORY riding a ship to battle in the same exact shape as the cataclysm causing ship of Nibryu? Mississippi's Constitution, which was drafted after a convention in 1868 by a biracial committee, provided free public education for all people between the ages of 5 and 21 years. The state had little tax money to fund the school system, however, due to a heavily agricultural economy. Many black communities matched money raised by Julius Rosenwald to build schools and develop the educational systems in their communities. Malcolm will revert back to default settings and its biological brain will only be used as a subsidiary CPU for basic tasks whereas a more expensive and effective CPU will be implanted to maintain the entire facility and more. It is reported that Malcolm's last words before being reverted was "Hello Samantha."

Malcolm transfers them to his storage hold where the files can be reviewed before deletion.

McElhaney did a lot of work as well, sitting down with numerous players.

The Lay of the Land To fully appreciate the situation at Georgia State, as well as the position of Coach Trent Miles, it helps to examine their brief history as a program: The Panthers were actually a founding member of the Sun Belt back in 1976, but left in 1981 (the conference started sponsoring football in 2001). They announced the creation of a football program in 2008, fielded their first team as an FCS Independent in 2010, and joined the rest of their athletic programs in the Colonial Athletic Association (FCS) for the 2012 season—all as planned. However in April 2012, just before its inaugural CAA season and only two seasons after the program began, the Sun Belt's brand new commissioner Karl Benson sent an invitation to join the SBC as a full, FBS member. A fair number of people were surprised by the invitation, including their first coach, Bill Curry (“For us to be able to move this quickly is something I would have never dreamed of [. . .] I don’t think we had a choice.”). Indeed, this was during the chaotic conference shifts that were rearranging CFB: Georgia State's administration conducted a study that determined they would be a good fit for a FBS conference; the Sun Belt wanted better access to the Atlanta TV market. The stars aligned and the Sun Belt had an 11th member. The choice of a coaching veteran like Curry to launch the program appeared to follow the model laid out by FAU's formation behind Howard Schnellenberger (later followed by UTSA's selection of Larry Coker), but Curry's previous tenures with established programs at nearby Georgia Tech, Bama, and Kentucky didn't appear to mesh well with building one from scratch: his win totals went from six, to three, to one (in that only season of CAA play). Before the one-win 2012 season, Curry sounded a bit tired of the current college football environment when talking about the move to the Sun Belt: “When all the arrows pointed to ‘Yes, do this’ then we had to move quickly because if you don’t, you get left in the dirt the way it is these days. Things move so fast in this world.” He retired after the season. Enter the Sun Belt, enter Trent Miles. In two years of Sun Belt membership, the Panthers have yet to win a conference game. They're 2-33 over the last three seasons. Those two wins were FCS teams; two wins out of thirteen games against FCS opponents. Coach Trent Miles has been at the helm for the most recent two seasons, starting 0-12 and following it up with 1-11 for 2014. The school's only won 11 total games its five-year existence. It's hard to blame the struggles on being a new program when conference-mate South Alabama started their program in 2009 and went bowling last year; similarly Old Dominion also began in 2009 and hasn't been struggling nearly as much (going 11-2 in its final year of FCS and doing reasonably well in C-USA). Or look at UTSA: started a year after Georgia State with similar plans to start as an FCS program, it was also issued an unexpected invitation to join the FBS (by WAC Commissioner...Karl Benson), but have managed to stay competitive in C-USA. If anything, it doesn't seem outlandish to think Sun Belt Commissioner Benson expected similar performance out of Georgia State in the SBC. That hasn't happened, at least in football—Georgia State basketball has flourished in the Sun Belt under Coach Ron Hunter (but that program is also much older). Because of how quickly they rose to FBS, and because of their cramped location in the heart of a major city, the infrastructure is playing catch-up with the program's ambitions. It's a very urban campus, located next to downtown Atlanta and the Georgia State Capitol. Their practice field sits across the freeway in an industrial area next to train tracks, the field house used to be a bottling plant. They're putting the finishing touches on a new football strength and conditioning facility next to their practice field—the projected cost is $600k-$700k, with an additional $300k for equipment. To put that in perspective: Texas just announced they're saving $300k per year (despite a $7m profit) by cutting free meals for coaches. It's a different ballgame at the entry level of FBS, and Georgia State is gradually putting the pieces together while simultaneously fielding a team at the highest division in college football. It shouldn't be a surprise they're struggling as they have. With that perspective, Coach Trent Miles came to the podium ready to address the status of a long-term building project—one that he feels comfortable with because he had a the same zero-win and one-win start to his previous position as head coach of FCS Indiana State (they had 6 wins in year three). When a reporter tried to soften his question by saying “the season may not have gone the way you expected”, Miles clarified that “yeah, I did.” He compared the job at Georgia State to building a house: “For weeks all you see is a hole in the ground. You don't see what's going on underneath and they're pouring the foundation. We've poured the foundation, now the frame is up” In the process of building an FBS program from almost scratch, Miles played 18 true freshman his first year in 2013. Now those players are veteran juniors. He feels he's on course with the progression for building the program. They had more close games in 2014, leading two bowl teams in the 4th quarter. He views the 2015 season as moving the team from the “how-to-compete stage” to the “how-to-win stage.” "You'd be shocked at how much confidence we have." Let's take a moment to look back again on 2014: They had an abysmal -22 turn over ratio, the worst in the nation. They managed several close losses to ULL, South Alabama, and NMSU (two of which were bowl teams). Depth was a major weakness: They started the season with only 68 scholarship players and the attrition of playing an FBS schedule led the wheels to fly off in their final five games. By the second-to-last game at Clemson the Panthers had 52 people on the bus—and only 16 scholarship defensive players (they lost 28-0). They open 2015 with 82 scholarship players. The Panthers were given an infusion of ready-to-play transfer talent from UAB, their six players second only to South Alabama's 10 (+ UAB's OC); half of those players are expected to help strengthen the needy defense. Coach Miles said they interviewed each potential transferee to make sure they were the right fit for the building effort at Georgia State, and so they appeared to quickly fit into the system during the spring—within a week it wasn't easy to tell they were transfers. Miles is particularly confident in his offense. He's set two goals for 2015: Take care of the football (unsurprisingly) and improve the running game to take pressure off the QB. Last season the Panthers' QB, JC-transfer Nick Arbuckle, had a solid year given the situation, throwing for 3283 yards (60.4%) with 23 TDs and 17 INTs. As Arbuckle returns for his senior season, Miles sees continuing improvement and hopes to be able to provide him with better protection to reduce pressure and mistakes. Arbuckle should be helped by the return of touted receivers senior WR Donovan Harden, junior WR Robert Davis, and senior TE Joel Ruiz. Although the running game was beset by injuries that created terrible results (10th in the SBC, 120th in FBS—the leading rusher only had 354 yards!), they do return experience with several lineman and their original starting RB, so improvement is possible if they can stay healthy. That -22 turnover ratio appears to have nowhere to go but up. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Georgia State's offensive coordinator, Jeff Jagodzinski, who may be one of the most undervalued assistant coaches in college football. Jagodzinski's coaching career was promising: successful coordinator from college to the NFL, hired to replace Tom O'Brien has head coach at BC. In his first season he took the Eagles to 11-wins, and at one time BCS #2, with QB Matt Ryan leading his offense; he followed 9-wins his second year—then the wheels came off in unprecedented fashion: after being told not to interview for the HC position of the Jets (BC was still smarting from O'Brien's departure to NC State), he did anyway and was fired by BC after two seasons (the Jets hired Rex Ryan). He joined the Bucs as OC in 2009 only to be fired before the preseason ended. He then coached the Omaha Nighthawks of the UFL but was fired after a season. After spending 2012 as an unpaid WR coach of NAIA's Ave Maria he was scooped up to be Miles' OC at Georgia State. If he can continue to develop the Panthers' offense it will do well to rebuild his reputation. "Our offense was good, our defense was offensive!" Miles acknowledged the struggles on defense. Last year, in allowing an average of 43.3 points per game, they ranked at or near the bottom of every category but passing defense—because no one needed to pass when the running game was so effective. Defensive coordinator Jesse Minter returns for his third season after following Miles from Indiana State, but there's a mostly new slate of defensive assistants under him. The players were seriously banged up last season: as noted above, they only had 16 healthy scholarship players left on defense in their penultimate game. They've had some talent infusion via transfers: UAB transfers, LB Alonzo McGee and S Bobby Baker in particular, were singled out by Miles for looking good. They also have an interesting transfer from Canada, by way of New Mexico Military Institute (JC), DE Julien Laurent. I asked Miles about it and he said Laurent is an example of how Miles' staff needs to be willing “overturn stones” to find talent (I wonder if they sent someone to scout potential diamonds in the IFAF World Cup, there had to be at least a handful of playable transfers out there, and coming to live in Atlanta wouldn't be unappealing to international players). That's not to say the existing defense is without notable players: Sr. LB Joe Peterson has been the team's top tackler in the past three years, is its uncontested star and, more importantly, its leader. Miles noted having a veteran player like Peterson gives the Panthers something they were missing: as the team is only 5 years old, it didn't have the corp of experienced players to act as leaders and set the tone for how players are expected to perform on and off the field. This season he's seeing those leaders emerge to instill expectations on the next generation of players. "When wives and families count as half your attendance..." (you've got work to do) Miles likened expectations of some folks to taking his five kids through the drive-through at McDonalds: people want it fast. He emphasized patience, there's no quick fix. At the same time, he acknowledged wins generate interest and attendance, hence the quote above. Georgia State only lists the bottom of the Georgia Dome for capacity (28k) and they officially averaged only a little over half that (15,006); but that's “announced attendance” which includes every ticket paid for and given away, not who actually showed up. The average was boosted by 28,427, mostly Georgia Southern fans, who came up to see their game in Atlanta; the low point were the 3,485 announced for the season finale against Texas State. Another problem facing Georgia State is the reputation as a “commuter school”; while more and more students are living on campus and having a traditional four year education, their alumni network isn't the same as one with more connection to a campus life tradition. Georgia State isn't just building a football program from the ground up, it's building the essence, tradition, and connection to one's alma mater. Everyone, from administrators to Coach Miles, is hoping the school can acquire the Braves' soon-to-be-vacated Turner Field and turn it into a proper home football stadium as part of a $300m redevelopment project of the area. It's not a perfect fix to attendance woes, but it would be a step to making it more inviting to fans. However, while the project is favored by the mayor, it's hardly a done deal (just recently there's been a pitch by several casinos). If Turner Field falls through it's not entirely clear what the Panthers' “plan B” will be other than continuing the imperfect status quo and using the successor to the Georgia Dome. The good news for Georgia State fans is the administration appears to appreciate the Herculean task faced by their head coach, and continues to support the program. Last year the school replaced their AD, bringing in Charlie Cobb from Appalachian State—his nine years include experience with supporting a successful transitional football team (albeit one that was already an FCS power); under his recent tenure, Georgia State moved forward with the needed strength and conditioning facility next to their practice field. If Miles can muster some more wins, the administration should continue to be patient. Will Miles' Indiana State model work at Georgia State? Talking to veteran players from Appalachian State, Georgia Southern and South Alabama—players who similarly saw their teams move up from FCS—I asked about the differences they saw between levels of competition. A common thread was the need to be at the top of their game for each opponent: where not all FCS teams were threatening, all FBS teams play more consistently (in addition to increases in size and speed). The vets said there were FCS opponents they knew they could have an off game against. That would seem to offer more opportunities to pick off low-hanging fruit with competent play. So when Miles points to his work at Indiana State that took the FCS wins from 0-1-6-6-7, it doesn't necessarily convince me that his FBS program will see a similar rise in year three. However, I don't want to leave off with a feeling of doom and gloom. There are some positive signs: the young team is maturing, with now juniors and seniors who've got plenty of game experience. They have more depth. A -22 turnover ratio means there's nowhere to go but up. Several close losses, and a few of those against good teams, seems to indicate an improvement in win total is possible. Four or even five wins wouldn't be unthinkable with games against Charlotte, NMSU, Liberty, as well as rebuilding teams at Troy and South Alabama (though they miss Idaho). I asked Coach Miles what he would define as a successful season, his answer was simple: “Wins.” As an aside, and something you can probably sense from the quotes above, Coach Miles was probably the most interesting coach at Sun Belt Media Day. He's personable, clearly intelligent enough to know the situation he's facing, and engaging to listen to. PLAYERS: Joe Peterson (Sr. LB) said, while the accolades are nice to have, he really want to win games—in all of his answers he genuinely seemed to want the defense to buy into “speaking and envisioning” success, something he wants to instill in the younger players as their leader. As such, he feels he needs to take ownership of the good and bad. When he arrived on campus and became a true freshman starting LB, he didn't know how to be a leader but found it fell on him because of his play (he's been the team's lead tackler each year). He's enjoyed seeing the team grow up around him, and is excited about the new strength and conditioning facility, along with a new S&C coach. McElhaney asked him several questions:
On depth – He was please from what he's seen with the combined maturity of the team (the return of key defensive lineman who played as freshman and sophomores) as well as Juco transfers who've been able to plug right into the defense in the front seven. “The team just went from being young to old.”
About the Clemson game (28-0 loss) – Peterson sat out the game due to injury, but observed from the sideline: Although they were shut out, the ability to hold an offense like Clemson's to 28 actually gave the defense, particularly the young players, some confidence to see that they could do it. Those 28 were the fewest scored against the Panthers.
Any young players to look out for? – CBs Chan Sullivan (So) and Jerome Smith (RS Fr) both impressed Peterson.
Did the injuries plaguing the running back corp put extra pressure on the defense? – While the running backs were definitely beaten up (they had to move a DB over!), he felt it fell on the defense, and on him as a leader, to get them ready to play “no matter what happens.”
Donovan Harden (RS Sr., WR, transferred from Illinois State), in talking about his growth as a player, noted both appreciating the amount of work (and time management) needed to do academically and the value of strength conditioning for his play on the field. As a true freshman he played at 153 lbs (“running for my life”) he's since wanted to add “armor” and is playing at 175 lbs. Like Peterson, he found himself being a leader based on his success on the field last season (his first playing for Georgia State), especially as he started garnering recognition as the season went on (1st Team Sun Belt, Biletnikoff Watch List). McElhaney asked him several questions:
After the injuries at RB forced the team to lean on passing, do you feel that trend will continue? – Given the success the team had in the passing game, he's optimistic they'll continue to be pass oriented (“if it isn't broke, don't fix it”). Happy with the overall quality of the receiving corp.
Did the running game being injured hurt the passing game? – Yes, a lot of opponents were dropping eight which hurt efficiency so if they can balance it out it should benefit the offense overall.
How much do you think Nick Arbuckle has improved as a QB? – “He has improved a lot and I have learned a lot from him about leadership, he's always doing the right thing: first in the weight room . . . always raring to go.”
Who's a younger player we should look out for? – Incoming freshman Penny Hart (WR).
Do you think you'll break 1000 yards this season? – “That's the plan!” (827yds in 2014)
