Tarkov is a bad game and other obvious statements

What I am about to say has, in it's basic form of "Tarkov is a bad game" been said many times. I normally wouldn't take the time to state something this obvious but I truly want to like this game which makes it considerably more frustrating as battlestate perpetually fails to do anything about the glaring issues it contains. I am also in the mood to watch fanboys scramble to defend the indefensible and spam "git gud" only further proving my point.
Tarkov is a game which in it's pretentious attempts to be "hardcore" seemingly forgets the rudimentary fact that it is a game. games are, on a fundamental level, supposed to be at least one of two( or three depending on how you look at it) things: fun, challenging (and/or competitive if competition isn't just challenge but pvp). To say that Tarkov is not fun is just beating a dead horse at this point. The game seems to go out of it's way to avoid being fun as the developers appear to have conflated "hardcore" and "not fun". While the rush of exfil-ing with "phat loot" might be perceived as fun by some this is much like saying that winning at a casino is fun. The difference with a casino game is that they are in general designed to have of the previously mentioned categories (fun, challenge, competition) whereas Tarkov fails to be any of the three. A casino game can manage to be fun, sometimes through it's design for some players, but always because what you are playing for is real money which has benefits in society and your life as a whole. This takes casino winnings beyond being just "chips on a table" whereas Tarkov has nothing outside of the perpetual, circular grind. At some point "phat loot" in and of itself is just pixels on a screen when there is no meaningful system that getting the loot is a part of. you get the loot, to sell it, to buy gear, to get the same loot, to buy the same gear onward into infinity with no end goal or grander system in sight.
We return to the casino analogy as I go on to show how it (contrary to what many believe) is neither challenging nor competitive. Challenge (or it's pvp form, competition) is a tricky subject that it seems allot of people have a weak grasp of. For instance the question: "is something impossible challenging?" or "Is impossibility the peak of challenge?". It almost seems logical that something impossible would by it's very nature be extremely challenging but I would say no: once something becomes impossible it ceases to be challenging because challenge implies a correct set of actions that would lead to success and that this set of actions has some level of difficulty to complete. Here we enter the real problem with Tarkov, not being fun wouldn't be such a problem in and of itself if the game were truly challenging or competitive.
What Tarkov really is, when it comes down to it, is a gauntlet, largely comprised of bullshit. You enter a raid and then proceed to try and jump the various hurdles which are put in front of you in order to reach that juicy "phat loot" dopamine hit at the end (which as I have stated, is really just an illusion). There are a considerable number of hurdles in any given raid which would be fine if the game was a functional and correctly tuned system where crossing each of those hurdles is something in control of the player. What makes Tarkov a truly bad game is the number of hurdles which exist that the player has no real agency in jumping. These hurdles resolve to being a probability chance of being impossible. I will get to what these hurdles are in a moment but first another question about challenge: --let's say you have a boss in an old school game, except this boss' mechanics are that you simply run over a series of colored stripes on the ground, the stripes are many different colors and each one has an effect. In order to win you must simply reach the boss by crossing these stripes. The thing is that each stripes' effect is a different probability chance to kill you. there is no correlation between the stripes color and it's chance to kill so you can't try to game the probability in any meaningful way. you simply run to the boss and either get there because none of the random chances to die were rolled or you die and start over--
is this game challenging? let's ignore how rudimentary and not fun that game would be and instead focus on if that game is challenging. It is possible to win and so as a whole the game is not impossible so surely it isn't the same as the initial example of an impossible game at the beginning of the post. Yet again I would disagree, this game would not actually be challenging because the player doesn't have any recourse to effect the outcome. In order for a game to be challenging there needs to be something to player can do to influence his chances of success.
Me, my good friend and my brother have been playing this game for a couple of years and have accumulated an almost comical amount of screenshots and recordings which demonstrate the same kind of unpredictable and inflexible gameplay hurdles as described in the hypothetical game earlier. These recordings include: - shooting a complete bambi who didn't have a helmet on, undeniably in the head, with bullets which we can confirm deal more damage than the head has hp by a large margin and proceeding to have that person kill one of us in a single shot with a pistol through our helmeted head. - obvious hacking. - seemingly being killed by what felt like a console command while in full cover with no sound of a weapon discharging or being hit by a round - hearing footsteps while looting, trying to exit the loot menu and it proceeding to lag out long enough for that person to cross a hundred feet and kill one of us before we could even control our character - shooting someone in the head with SNB, knowing it should pen most helmets, them spinning around and killing one of us, getting to the postgame screen and seeing that none of our damage was absorbed by armor. - dealing upwards of 150 damage to someone's torso without killing them -shooting someone multiple times, seeing blood, knowing you hit them, getting one-tapped, going to postgame and seeing that it claims you didn't hit them - getting shot in the head by someone who clearly had no way of seeing your head - trying to move into cover and being stopped by some tiny object on the ground which is hardly taller than my character's foot itself
and these are just a small sample of the things and primarily those which seem to be unintentional oversights or bugs. This isn't even to mention the horrid design decisions that lead to meaningless unassailable "hurdles" such as:
- the infamous "rng scav instakill" where scavs seemingly just roll on a table of where they will hit you which leads to being one-tapped by a mindless NPC based on nothing but RNG. -being queued with teams of 3 as a solo -getting 10 kills in a match only to die of hunger even though your character has only been in raid for 30 minutes (probably translating to a couple of hours of "game time" which still make no sense to be dying of hunger in) - getting shot and realizing you forgot your salewa so you have heavy bleeding and nothing to stop it with because the game makes it a pain in the the ass 15 minute process just to put gear on your pmc - getting shot, having light bleeding and only 2 tourniquets and a hemostat which for some reason magically only work when you're bleeding "heavily" -the general prevalence of "you shoot at eachother until somebody gets randomly one-shot" which is what most combat breaks down to
what this in effect means is that your choices, gear and ability often have little to no effect on whether or not you survive a raid much of the time. This also means that there's no way to really learn from dying and avoid it next time because there is either no explanation for what occurred or no possible way it could have been avoided. There are likely ways to game some of these bullshit hurdles to work out in your favor but all that means is that someone else is hitting that bullshit hurdle instead of you. This is pre-emptively in response to the incoming "but Pestily survives raids, therefore it is because he is good and therefore the game is not a meaningless soup of rng nonsense". Someone like pestily is extremely skilled at the parts of the game which a player can control but still dies to nonsense on stream all the time. A game is supposed to be made to be played by it's community, not by 10 streamers on twitch and everyone else just watches them play instead.
This has been allot of words to state the obvious fact that "tarkov bad" so I'll end it here. I didn't even get to the analysis of how the game's trajectory seems to have very little chance of ever improving the game in a serious way and may in fact be a downward spiral of adding worthless complexity to the game that only serves to make it less fun in an vain attempt to reach the orgasm part of the "hardcore" circlejerk. I would just like to remind everyone that responding with some flavor of "git gud" only serves to prove my point that this game accomplishes nothing but to feed into a toxic community of "hardcore" players who circlejerk over how "hardcore" they are without ever stopping to question if the game which they think proves their status as "hardcore" actually contains any meaningful difficulty or competition. seemingly either ignorant or uncaring that they are dumping their time into something which has no real value outside of being a gauntlet of coin tosses.

Sandman: Homecoming - 7 - The Son of Phantasos

OOC:
Below are all the published chapters of Sandman: Homecoming, for your convenience. Enjoy!
Chapter 1 - The Forgemaster's Assistant
Chapter 2 - The Shelf Cloud
Chapter 3 - The Birthday Present
Chapter 4 - The Old and the New
Chapter 5 - The Son of Phobetor
Chapter 6 - The Guilty and the Innocent
Chapter 7 - The Son of Phantasos
I felt bad leaving Camp without much an explanation to my friends, but it was like Brandon said. Sometimes people just leave Camp. I guess I understood what he meant now.
“Last stop, Manhattan station. Everybody out!”
I got off the bus, my now expired, expensive, one-way ticket shoved in the pocket of my signature jacket as I hopped down onto the concrete, muscling through some of the adults that had been on the trip into the city with me. My backpack, the one with the wings, was in my hand, and my Plate of Medusa was on over my shirt and jeans, but none of the passengers seemed to give me much of a glance. My dream-catcher key-chain was shoved into my pocket too. All that was left was-
“That’s one hell of a frisbee, son,” the attendant said, a short, round man with a dark combover style haircut. He wore glasses that made his eyes look larger than fishbowls. He’d been unpacking the bus for the passengers, and was now holding the shield that Jay had given to me, which I took and slung over my shoulder. He continued. “And you’re wearing a… bullet-proof vest, too?”
“Competitive frisbee is pretty hard,” I said simply.
“You’re damn right it’s hard,” he said, a smile now adorning his face. “Don’t let anyone tell you that’s not a sport to be proud of. Go get ‘em, son!”
“Thanks, have a nice day!” I waved at him, then I made my way through the terminal and into the greater city of Manhattan. I’d seen a bit of it from the bus window while riding over the bridge, but it was different up close. I’d been so used to the Greek and cozy architecture of Camp Half-Blood that I’d almost forgotten about the skyscrapers and city streets beyond the Camp’s forcefield border. They looked a lot different now then they did during the Cull, when streets were nearly flooded with blood.
I wondered just how many monsters lurked around the corner, waiting to eat me when I found myself alone. I shifted my dream-catcher key-chain out from my pocket and into my hand.
I got directions to The Henrietta and made my way across the city, crossing every corner thinking it would be my last. When nothing happened, and I made it to the lobby of the Henrietta, I found myself faced with a new concern. The lobby alone looked like something out of a King’s castle, with chandeliers made of more glittering jewels than I’d seen in my entire life. Rich people in fur coats came and went with bellboys following them like shadows, carrying loads of equipment I figured even the Heracles kids back at Camp would have had a hard time with. The adults, all dressed to the nines, gave me some pretty sour looks. No doubt I looked a bit shaggy, and I got the feeling that your average thirteen year old wasn’t even allowed in the lobby of a place like The Henrietta. Was I sure this was the place Albert had wanted me to meet him at?
I fished around for money in my pocket, pulling out a few crumpled twenty dollar bills and some drachma in change, coins I doubted would do me much in the way of favours at the front desk. The man there stared me down like I was a stray dog. He was tall and thin, with white hair kept perfectly clean and suave. He had a pencil thin mustache of the same colour, and a fed up expression. I imagined dealing with rich people all day didn’t make you very accommodating.
“Your business.” The thin man was talking to me, leaning over the pristine counter lined with gold and red velvet. “Are you here to sell... chocolates, perhaps? One of the local school donations?”
“Uh, no,” I said, wondering what he saw when he looked at me, carrying a shield on my back, and a linothorax over my clothes. “I’m… uh, well, I’m meeting a friend, here.”
“I highly doubt that,” the man said, rolling his eyes as he went back to his computer terminal. He didn’t seem in the mood for any further conversation. “Run along now, street rat. I’ll call security if you’ve forgotten where the exit is.”
“No, that’s fine,” I said. “I can make my way out.”
“Perfect. Leave please.”
“Right,” I said. I felt embarrassed. Clearly this wasn’t the right place. I turned to leave, but my suspicions were proven false by the figure that now stood in the threshold of the sliding glass doors of the Henrietta.
He was almost taller in person, I thought, but he was much more clean looking than the last time I’d seen him. Maybe he’d finally gotten some sleep, now that we had an agenda. Albert strode into the lobby wearing a plate set of celestial bronze. He was more shiny than the decorative furniture. His black hair was freshly styled short and clean, and his beard was trimmed down to stubble once again. His blue eyes were piercing azure in contrast to the dull orange glow of his armour. I wondered what all the mortals saw when they looked at him.
“I have a reservation,” he said calmly, giving me a wink as he walked towards the front desk. “I see my friend was trying to check in? It should be under Albert Ethans. The Observer’s Suite, top floor.”
“Ah, mister Ethans,” the thin man said, though he didn’t look apologetic in the slightest, simply looking quizzical as he sorted through some documents on his desk. “You’re the… Twitch… Streamer? Is that correct?”
“Yep,” Albert said. He looked like he was trying to stop himself from laughing.
“And you’re paying in… cash.”
“Yep.”
“Very well,” the thin man said, “you seem to have cleared this with my superiors over the phone.” The man turned from his computer and folded his hands, grinning wider than I’d seen most people capable of. “Your receipt should be in your bag, as is listed in your file.”
“Right, right,” Albert said, and he knelt down in front of the desk. Suddenly, seemingly from no source at all, grains of sand started to formulate and solidify, like a small sand structure of a duffle bag. Albert placed his hands on the sculpture, and suddenly it wasn’t one anymore, but instead a solid bag, a bag he then unzipped to show rolled wads of cash. It looked like something a bank robber might have. He smiled at me again, closed the bag, and as quickly as it had appeared, the bag simply crumpled into the ground like any sandcastle might under the slightest amount of pressure. In a few more seconds, the sand was gone entirely, and Albert had paid for our rooms with more cash than I’d seen in my entire life. I followed Albert to the elevator, watching as he pressed the top-most button and closed the doors behind us.
“What was that?” I asked, still thinking about the bag, “and… he didn’t even, like no one noticed?”
“Barry, come on,” Albert said. “I’m wearing a full set of armour, and no one noticed that either. Mortals see what they want to see. That little trick was no different.”
“Hell of a trick,” I said.
“It’s one you can learn,” Albert said with a smile, leaning against the wall of the elevator as it shot upwards to the suites of The Henrietta. “Once the Dreamscape trusts you, it can keep things for you. Have you ever noticed how you always have your stuff when you go to the Dreamscape? The connection works both ways.”
“Oh,” I said, as the golden doors of the elevator opened, and an equally exuberant hallway stretched out before us. I followed Albert, who seemed to know where he was going. I continued to speak. “Well, I’ll get practicing.”
“Sure, but another night.” Albert had stopped before a set of double doors and swiped a keycard he’d gotten from the thin man at the desk. A light at the base of the doors shifted from red to green. “Tonight we’re just gonna hang out. We catch our train tomorrow.”
~
It turns out that you can do a decent amount of hanging out in a luxury hotel suite, especially when you’ve got nothing to do until tomorrow morning.
Camp Half-Blood had easily been the best place I’d ever lived, but even inside its magical borders there were amenities it couldn’t afford. The Henrietta, on the other hand, had anything a thirteen year old boy could ever want. Our room had a hot tub, a crazy big TV with endless cartoons, game systems, room service - which I tried for the first time - and brochures for free fast food. It was a paradise.
“There’s a place like this in Vegas,” Albert said, taking a slice of pizza and folding it in half as he took a giant bite. “The Lotus Casino, I think it’s called. Just remember that name if you ever take a trip there.”
“Awesome,” I said, my thumbs fumbling over the controller as I tried to play Super Smash Bros, a game I’d played with Brandon on occasion. I was getting in a lot of practice tonight, but I was still pretty terrible. “I’ll look it up.”
“Well, no,” Albert said with a chuckle, “I mean you should try and avoid it. Monsters own the place. They use it for luring demigods and trapping them with luxuries. Time works differently there, so you could be trapped for years without even realizing it.”
“Oh,” I said, looking towards the clock on one of the many nightstands in our gorgeous room. It read 1:13am. I’d realized I’d lost track of time pretty quickly, which meant I probably wouldn’t survive my trip to the Lotus Casino. “Well, thanks, I’ll keep that in mind.”
“No problem, Barry,” Albert said, dipping his pizza crust in some sauce I didn’t know the name of. “It’s a big world out there, you’d do well to- Wait, pause the game.”
I hit the start button on my controller, and looked over to Albert. We were both in pajamas, essentially, wearing t-shirts and sweatpants. Even in something so casual Albert had a cautious, almost terrified look on his face.
“What is it?”
Albert held his hand out to me to silence my questions. I tried to listen for something, to hear what Albert was hearing. I didn’t hear anything unusual, but I realized I must have left the shower running, because there was hissing coming from a different room.
But… I didn’t leave the shower running. And the bathroom wasn’t in that direction.
“Shit,” Albert said, and he rolled off the bed to grab his sword. It was a simple thing made of weathered celestial bronze, with more dents and grooves than I’d seen on any training sword at Camp. It had seen more fights than I had, that was for sure.
“What’s happening,” I said, grabbing my key-chain out from my pocket. “What’s going on?”
The door burst open, and there I saw monsters I hadn’t seen since my first summer at Camp Half-Blood. I’d only barely made it away from them before, but that was before my training. Still, even with all the knowledge of combat Jay had managed to shove into my brain, nothing really prepared you for the real thing.
Three scythian dracanae hissed at the threshold of our suite, and after a moment of silent pause, they pounced.
OOC:
Thank you so much for reading! Barry has officially left Camp!
Next Time in Sandman: Homecoming
A familiar face talks. Barry holds a grudge. There’s an explosion in New York.

MAME 0.218

MAME 0.218

It’s time for MAME 0.218, the first MAME release of 2020! We’ve added a couple of very interesting alternate versions of systems this month. One is a location test version of NMK’s GunNail, with different stage order, wider player shot patterns, a larger player hitbox, and lots of other differences from the final release. The other is The Last Apostle Puppetshow, an incredibly rare export version of Home Data’s Reikai Doushi. Also significant is a newer version Valadon Automation’s Super Bagman. There’s been enough progress made on Konami’s medal games for a number of them to be considered working, including Buttobi Striker, Dam Dam Boy, Korokoro Pensuke, Shuriken Boy and Yu-Gi-Oh Monster Capsule. Don’t expect too much in terms of gameplay though — they’re essentially gambling games for children.
There are several major computer emulation advances in this release, in completely different areas. Possibly most exciting is the ability to install and run Windows NT on the MIPS Magnum R4000 “Jazz” workstation, with working networking. With the assistance of Ash Wolf, MAME now emulates the Psion Series 5mx PDA. Psion’s EPOC32 operating system is the direct ancestor of the Symbian operating system, that powered a generation of smartphones. IDE and SCSI hard disk support for Acorn 8-bit systems has been added, the latter being one of the components of the BBC Domesday Project system. In PC emulation, Windows 3.1 is now usable with S3 ViRGE accelerated 2D video drivers. F.Ulivi has contributed microcode-level emulation of the iSBC-202 floppy controller for the Intel Intellec MDS-II system, adding 8" floppy disk support.
Of course there are plenty of other improvements and additions, including re-dumps of all the incorrectly dumped GameKing cartridges, disassemblers for PACE, WE32100 and “RipFire” 88000, better Geneve 9640 emulation, and plenty of working software list additions. You can get the source and 64-bit Windows binary packages from the download page (note that 32-bit Windows binaries and “zip-in-zip” source code are no longer supplied).

What's Coming in August on Netflix?

What's Coming to Netflix in August , 2020
After a blockbuster July, August looks to be a little quieter on Netflix—unless you’re an Avatar: The Last Airbender fan, in which case you are no doubt incredibly excited that all four seasons Books of The Legend of Korra, the sequel series to that anime-influenced Nickelodeon hit, are coming to the streamer on August 14. (Avatar: The Last Airbender boarded Netflix in May, kicking off a record run of 58 days as one of the streamer’s most popular programs.)
The followup, which began airing on Nickelodeon in 2012, was acclaimed by fans and praised by critics for its beautiful animation and its tackling of complex political and environmental themes. It also broke boundaries for its diverse representations of race, gender and sexual orientation in children’s programming.
Despite all of that, it didn’t quite repeat the success of its predecessor (which was turned into a live-action feature in 2010 that it’s best we not speak of). A dip in the ratings in the third season resulted in the fourth and final one being booted from Nickelodeon main onto its sister channel Nicktoons. And though it has found an audience via streaming in the years since, it has always been a bit tough to locate online: Until now, only the first two seasons were available on CBS All Access; if you wanted to watch all four, you’d have had to subscribe to the Nick Hits channel on Amazon Prime.
Now, however, ATLA and TLOK fandoms can finally unite on Netflix, as the service is hosting all seasons of both series, no doubt to help build an audience for its live-action Avatar reboot, expected in ??? (that being the release date for everything that was in production when the pandemic hit).
Otherwise, the biggest callout from this month’s list of Netflix originals are season 5 of Lucifer and the new superhero film Project Power, starring Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt and written by Mattson Tomlin, co-writer of the forthcoming Robert Pattinson-led Batman movie. The plot involves a drug that gives people superpowers, but only for five minutes.
Here’s everything coming to and leaving Netflix in August.

Ever want to take your group to Las Vegas?

Here is a 1-shot adventure I made, that could easily be fixed to suit any campaign! It comes complete with a whole town, some notable NPCs, some games to play while they are there, and a heist adventure if your players are keen!I playtested it with my group last Friday and they loved it :) Let me know what you think, or if you play it with your group!
----------
The group has come to the bustling town of Everhaven, a massive stone city in the middle of nowhere outside of all lordly jurisdiction. What once was a safehaven for unlawful deeds, gangs and thieves and murder, has since become an incredible tourist attraction for upper-class citizens to feel the thrill of skullduggery with minimal risk (as well as those looking for an easy pocket to pick). With buildings stretching towards the sky engraved with immaculate relief decor along its pillars and archways; gold and jeweled accents; and magically enhanced lighting illuminating every corner, rooftop, and statue, the city of Everhaven is an overwhelming mecca of visual stimulation. You arrive at the main square, where hundreds of other carriages are dropping off persons of every shape and size. A large group of richly adorned dwarves with gems on every finger scramble out of a red velvet carriage and immediately begin arguing about which attraction to visit first. A few high elves laugh behind their hands, though their red cheeks reveal their obvious drunken state, while leaning against a statue of angels playing fanfare trumpets in every direction - light spewing out of the metal horns in a magical rhythmic dance into the sky above. To your right is a large stable run by a sturdy group of stablehands, who are keeping busy taking care of the myriad of animals being herded into the city with frantic efficiency. Leaning against the stables are a group of rough and unfriendly looking folks, scars streaking across their exposed skin and blades at their belts. If the group talks to them, or succeeds on a 12 PER check, these are mercenaries to be hired for protection for pickpockets. (use the thug statblock (mm pg 350) for 2 silver per day or veteran (mm pg 350) for 2 gold per day).Eventually, an overzealous male half-elf (Fenian, The Silver Song) approaches you, adorned with a sequin silver vest and small white lute. He wears a hat with bells that jingles incessantly as he strides up to greet you. He offers to give you a tour of the city, and he specializes in the grand jewel of the of Everhaven - The Clover. He asks for 10 silver for the regular tour, with the best-selling vocalization, or 20 silver for without music accompaniment.Anyone with a passive perception of 10 or less will at some point, if not multiple points, be pick pocketed during their stay unless they hired a guard. On the tour he points out the various mercenary groups along the way, and makes note of the major attractions. The group can also see these if they decline his services:
If the group is having enough fun just exploring - let them. Otherwise, if they make enough money or make enough of a ruckus, then a stranger will approach them with a plan too good to pass up.
This female purple-skinned tiefling (Marzas Alrozath) has a scar over one eye and is missing a few teeth, but is otherwise well kept and clean. Her hair is shaved in zigzag patterns on both sides and a ponytail at the back. She wears padded black leather, with various pockets sewn in. Her belt has too many coin purses. She takes you to the Pepper Parlour and pays for your meals “There is no better place to talk of such matters than in a room full of raucous pigs.” She explains that she is interested in working with you to break into The Clover’s vault. There is more money there than God knows what to do with. It is heavily guarded with too many traps. She heard from a good source that there is, however, a way around the majority of these hazards - a central access point to the subterranean cellars connecting all of Everhaven together. She knows it's somewhere in the middle of town, but hasn’t been able to find where yet. She asks you to seek it out, as she cannot do it herself as they have her records on file (she became a member years ago, and they have her spit to track her movement inside the casino. If the party is already members they have disadvantage on any stealth checks made while in the Clover. The secret entrance is underneath the Smiling Lady Statue through the mechanic's entrance)Alternatively, you can try and find someone in The Clover who has little loyalty to the company, or someone who knows the space well can help you? Perhaps a key, or a map, or intel on what awaits you? (Fenian the guide, Balor the server at The Clover's Bar, or Two-Teeth at the Houndgrave)
Map to the Clover's Staff Area (accessible through the far back of the casino) (one with traps, one without)
TRAPS: If any traps go off, make an additional stealth check for alerting the guards (except for Trap 4)
  1. Trip wire - PER 12 check to notice the wire, or DEX 12 save to avoid stumbling.
  2. Door trap - DEX 12 save. A heavy iron block falls on your head. Take 1 D6 damage you are Stunned for 1 minute, with disadvantage on any saving throws for 10 minutes.
  3. Door trap - DEX 12 save. A heavy iron block falls on your head. Take 1 D6 damage and you are Stunned for 1 minute, with disadvantage on any saving throws for 10 minutes.
  4. Huge metal locked door to the vault - PER 12 check to notice the trap. If door isn’t unlocked the right way, then a loud siren goes off and you are Deaf for 1 minute (alerts the guard immediately).
  5. Trip wire - PER 12 check to notice the wire, or Con 15 save or be be blinded for 1 minute
  6. The floor in this room is jiggly. Movement across the room sends nearby creatures bouncing into the air. A successful Intelligence (Investigation) or Intelligence (Arcana) check (DC 15) will grant knowledge of how the jelly floor acts. A Wisdom (Perception) check (DC 15) is required to notice the jelly floor. The walls themselves are slightly sticky, which allows you to walk across. The floor feels like hard stone when lightly touched touch, but while walking across the floor or if hit, it really jiggles. A creature, and any creature who is within 5 feet of them, who is walking across the floor is tossed 10 feet into the air, hits the ceiling and takes 1d6 bludgeoning damage.
  7. If you don’t approach the door from the walls or ceiling (aka you open it from the floor), sleep gas is emitted into the hallway. (DC 15 Wisdom saving throw)
  8. Motion sensor - If the door wasn’t opened correctly, then this automatically goes off. Dex save or else darts shoot from the corners, take 2D6 damage.
  9. Tripwire - PER 12 check to notice the wire, or 12 DEX save to avoid stumbling.
  10. Tripwire - PER 12 check to notice the wire, or spikes fly out from the group. Take 1 D10 piercing damage
  11. Pressure plates - PER 12 to notice the plate, or else the pressure plates release sticky slime to the ground which acts as difficult terrain and sticks to your feet for 1 minute after leaving the terrain.
ROOMS:
CASINO GAMES (all Dealers / Game Masters have a DC 13 against sleight of hand checks) Lucky 7s - Roll 2D6. Players bet either over or under 7. Players can either double down or quit - pot then doubles until either the players cash out, they choose wrong, or a 7 is rolled. Once a 7 is rolled, the house wins.
Devil's Dice - Roll 3D6. Players pick a # between 1-6. If 0 of the dice match this number, the house wins. If 1 of the dice match, they win back their bet. If 2 match, they double their bet. If 3 match, they triple their bet.
High or Lower - Roll 2D6. Dealer shows 1 dice to player, and the player has to guess whether their sum is higher or lower than the Dealer's dice. Can double down, and then roles swap for who shows their dice first.
I tried making a few games that weren't just dice games, but also offered some role play elements.
Karaoke - Roll performance against the crowd's reaction. Roll 1D20 against the player's Performance (Player's have advantage if they perform a duet). Earn 1 gold for the difference between these rolls (ie: Player's rolled a 18 performance, DM rolled a 12. Players earn 6 gold)
Dunk the Drunk / Archery - Roll for a ranged attack. 10-15 earns back their bet. 15-20 earns double the bet. 20+ earns double the bet plus a special item (up to DMs discretion)
Hammer Strike - Simple enough - DC 15 Athletics wins double the bet.
*edit - Forgot to add in the casino games like I promised - whoops!

MAME 0.218

Onko kukaan saanut ajatuksia, mielipiteitä tai teorioita viiroista? Oikea raha, mutta onko siinä omaa rahaa vai tarjoavatko kasinot rahaa Skrill-tililleen pelatakseen pelejä. 1 streamer suoritti 130 000 bonusmetsästyksen ja katsojia oli 33 kt. Toiset tallettavat vain satunnaisesti 1–4 kt päivittäin. CasinoGrounds first launched in April 2016 by a group of enthusiastic Casino Streamers and regular Casino players. This website is aimed to provide a reliable and friendly Casino Streaming Community for people to share and discuss their knowledge, opinions and feelings about online gambling in a responsible way. You should also check out Casino Grounds, a relatively new platform dedicated solely to casino streaming. A program to actually let you stream. We recommend the Open Broadcast Software. This is free, and although it does require some technical skills it’s not overly complicated. It works on both Windows and Macs. About Casino Streamers. A streamers perspective of how the things work with casino streamers, affiliates and regular players. A lot of people have grown suspicious of how things work and I will try my best to explain why things might not be as you would think. Not everything is fake and "rigged" in the casino streams.
