Dragon Quest True Best Equipment Guide

So, I want to make a clear and concise guide for any players who recently picked up Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age and Have finally entered the Post Game or for people who have already played the game and just want to make sure they have the best gear. If I make any mistakes, please let me know!
First, lets start with the Accessories for each character: The best accessory in the game Hands Down is the Catholicon Ring. 2 For each character ensures you will not have to deal with ill effects such as sleep or confusion. This means you will need 16 gold bars, 160 perfect panacea, 32 royal rubies, and 48 Red Wood … Goodluck! You can craft this ring through the book Kings of the Rings, found in a chest in the Disciple's Trial - Cruel Crypt

Some Key books you will need for forging (a lot of weapons require these; I usually refer to these when I say forging):
Hero's Book of Basic Weapons, is found in the Tower of Lost Time.
A Hero's Book of Better Weapons , found in the Disciple's Trial - Eerie Valley
A Hero's Book of Brilliant Weapons, found by getting all wishes from Drustan.
Big Hitters of the Battlefield, found in the Luminary's Trial - Citadel Of Spite
Making Things with Metal Kings, obtainable after turning in 110 mini medals

Note: u/n00bavenger brought up a great point about armor. For a lot of characters, Exotoga and Seraph's Robe can be better than some of the armor I have listed. Its your choice but some of these can be better or worse than the armor listed below.

These will help you get a majority of the best gear. If a item is listed with no item location, presume you can get it from the above books.
First, lets start with the Hero.
Hero
Weapons: I cant really recommend anything as all are great, but dual wielding is good for damage and shield is good for defense. Your choice.
Gear:

Erik
Weapons: I would recommend daggers for their status effects, but its your choice.
Gear:

Veronica
Weapons: I would recommend Heavy Wands
Gear:

Serena
Weapons: I would recommend Wand + shield
Gear:

Sylvando
Weapons (based on charm): Primarily whatever gives you the most charm as those are the abilities you will use most
Gear

Rab
Weapons: Wands are highly recommended
Gear:
Jade
Weapons: Spears are preferred
Gear: (In the switch version, there is a gear that makes you literally invincible, so I will list the best gear and the kinda cheaty gear.)

Eight (Hendrik)
Weapons: Anything works, but I prefer Axe and shield
Gear:

Finally, For item farming, the best characters with accessories and gear are:
Erik: Accessories are Pirate King's Pendant and Bunny tail. The best armor for him is the Vest for Success
Jade: Two bunny tails and Uniforme Chic de l'Académie
Veronica: Two bunny tails and Uniforme Chic de l'Académie
Serena: Two bunny tails and Uniforme Chic de l'Académie
The Bunny Tails can be stolen/dropped by Bunicorns
The Uniforme Chic de l'Académie can be bought at the Quester's Rest in the Alter of the Starry Skies book in Tickington
The Pirate King's Pendant can be obtained through post game story events
The Vest for Success can be found through the quest Richie's Rock-Hard Roulette Challenge (Octagonia)
I really hope this guide goes appreciated. If I missed anything or I got something wrong let me know. If the spoiler text is too much, let me know and I will remove it.

I Hope You Enjoyed This Guide!

Rough Night at The Running Bear Casino (PAGE 1 of 2)

…The raging river, pulled them down.
Now they’ll always, be together,
In that Happy Hunting Ground…
- Running Bear by Sonny James
“Snakeyes! New roller, please, next up.” The game runner raked in the dice and chips and ignored the despair in the countenance of the most recent “high roller”. Ted shook his head and other people crowded him away from the dice pit. He was almost out of funds and it was still early. He’d budgeted his, “loss level” carefully to maximize his time at the reservation casino. It was an older one, filled with stereotypical paintings and statues intended to honor the local First Nations Tribes while fulfilling the expectations of rude tourists. He looked around forlornly for a new game to play. He didn’t care for the slots or the drawn-out and ever-shifting card games… ah, Blackjack! There was an opening at the table.
He rushed over before anyone else could snag it and bustled onto the chair. “Okay to deal me in on the next hand?” He interrupted the dealer, who ignored him until he was done dealing out the rest of the players and raking in the chips. He still did not speak but once Ted placed the minimum bet, he flipped a card down in front of him and the game began. Ted immediately started winning the straightforward game. He picked up most of his losses from his unfortunate run at craps and was finally enjoying himself. The couple at the far end of the table had apparently had enough and didn’t care for the new player. Ted liked to talk to new people and thought he was good at it. Before long, the other players had left and it was down to him, the dealer, and an older man, who wore a black cowboy style hat and chain-smoked thin cigarillos.
Ted, grinning heartily at his latest win, glanced over at the man, who had just fired up his next cancer-stick, “You know casinos, and a few bars are the last public places where anyone smokes. I remember when there were smoking sections at most places and my parents told me that there used to be no restrictions. I’ll bet you get plenty of pressure to stop from your family and friends. It’s a pretty bad habit for your long-term health…” Ted usually rambled on past any non-verbal cues that people might give him to stop talking, yet his diatribe came to a screeching halt at the look with which the stern-faced elder favored him.
The older man drew in a long pull on the firestick and then exhaled the stinking cloud into Ted’s face. He coughed a little and gagged at the odor of the raw blend of tobacco and chemicals. The old one removed the cigarillo from his mouth and tapped ashes onto the edge of the table and down onto the floor at his toes, “Sonny, nobody cares. Nobody wants your opinion, and you are not special, no matter what your mommy told you. I’ll do as I please and if you don’t like it, go bother people at another table.”
Ted gaped in shock. In his mind, the man’s words verged on an “assault”. He looked helplessly at the dealer, who just ducked his head and tried not to laugh. Indignant, he rose, took his pile of chips and fled into the depths of the gaming house in search of a friendlier table. He didn’t find one that he liked, so he finally gave up and sat at the bar. The bartender seemed to ignore him in favor of tidying up her workspace. He cleared his throat and received only a glance. He mumbled as much to himself as to her, “I just want a drink while I wait for a table to open.” He wondered at her stony silence, maybe she resents me for being…
His vocal ruminations were interrupted by a feminine voice, “What do you want?”
Ted looked up to see the bartender, mocking smile in place below shining, mesmerizing eyes. Ted simply gaped and eventually worked his jaw uselessly. The bartender shrugged and walked back to the other end of the bar. She spoke with a large man who was clearly part of the security team. He glared at Ted while she spoke. Ted wanted to avoid a confrontation. He’d been conditioned that he should seek authorities if such a situation loomed. Yet casino security was the only available authority here locally. There were Tribal Police on the Reservation, but he wasn’t sure they would want to listen to him. He finally shrugged and decided to go back over to the hotel for the rest of the night. This trip had been very unsatisfying… like all those he’d taken since he moved away from his parents’ home a few years previously.
There was an indoor walkway to the hotel, but Ted decided to go by the outdoor route to get some fresh air and enjoy the natural beauty that the builders had incorporated into the facility. As he walked dejectedly down the sidewalk, local flora pressing in from each side, he heard, from the nearby forest, a screeching wail. It startled him and he had to stop a moment to catch his breath and wait for his heart rate to slow to something more manageable. He realized that it must have been an owl or some other night bird. His father had told him that there were always weird noises “out in the sticks”.
As he plunged his hands into his pockets and determined to go to his room for rest, he caught the faint smell of burning tobacco on the breeze. It wafted over his shoulder from behind and caused him to emit a feeble cough. He looked back in annoyance. In the shadows behind him, he saw a figure. It was dark and stood still in a way that made him uncomfortable. An orange glowing circle of embers hovered around the face and rendered just enough light to illuminate the blue-grey curls of smoke as they exited the tiny conflagration and rose above the brim of a black hat. The ember flared for a moment and then flashed to the ground and was snuffed by a shadowed… foot? It wasn’t exactly clear to Ted; the figure’s lower extremities were... blurred. An even brighter flare, from a lighter or match stabbed into Ted’s eyes as the Smoker lit his next cigarillo.
Ted glared irritation but felt uncomfortable at the unnatural stillness to which the figure returned once the new fire was lit. He coughed once more, this time deliberately in a passive-aggressive attempt to communicate his displeasure and resumed his walk. He strained to listen behind him to determine whether the figure followed. He truly wished to get away from the stink and the threat of cancer or other respiratory illnesses. He slowed to listen, then gave up and looked over his shoulder again. There was no figure in the dark back near the exit to the casino. He turned to resume his walk, but a smoky black form now loomed before him! Its eyes glowed and smoked like large twin cigars as it gaped a maw that emitted pure black smoke and glowed with blue flames within the deep tunnel of the throat. Ted’s consciousness fled his body and found itself in a burning nightmare landscape that extended for as far as he could perceive in all directions.

Darnell, known to his public as “Murder Bush” a deliberate mistranslation of “merde bouchea.k.a. “Deadly Rapper” for having been a suspect in a shooting back in his youth, stepped up to the dice pit as the geeky dude left. He had plenty of chips and cash to back them. His entourage was there to support him and kiss his backside as often as he wished. He rolled through six passes before he crapped out. He hadn’t over-bet, so he’d won a small amount. He picked up his latest winning chips and handed them to the hostess who had kept him well plied with drinks and snacks. He was sure that for the right price, she would take care of his other needs. He played a few card tables and finished with Roulette.
Each time he won a few chips, he passed them on to the young woman or to one of his flunkies. In the end, they had all received at least some reward for the praises they’d heaped upon him; not for any real accomplishments, but rather to curry favor with the man whom they considered to be wealthy and important: a celebrity. The girl stayed at his side and except for when he asked her questions, she said nothing. He liked that: bitch know her place, he reveled in internal satisfaction. He liked her looks too. She was medium height and a little, “thick”. She was clearly interested but hadn’t gotten in his way when he flirted with other women. He truly liked this one. The more he considered her, the more he wanted to get down to business.
Eventually, he posed the question to her, “How much for the next few hours?” His brazen suggestion that she would take money for sexual favors was the final test. If she grew angry, then she didn’t appreciate his genius…
“Whatever you think is fair. How about we see if I can satisfy you? If I can, then you may want to be generous… as you have been so far.” She hefted the chips so that the pieces clinked in her palm. “If not, I don’t deserve a reward.”
She had passed with flying colors. Might even take this one back to civilization with me, he purred in his mind. He’d always thought of himself as a Big Cat… maybe a leopard or jaguar, definitely something dangerous and sleek. His need grew more intense by the moment. He desperately wanted this woman. “Come on, let’s go to my room.” He husked in a voice grown thick with desire.
They reached his suite, his groupies having been dismissed to their own nefarious pursuits, even his bodyguard. The big man had shrugged, “Your call boss-man.” and then stumped across the hallway to his own room. Now he was finally alone with… her. He stripped off his shirt and flipped his shoes into a corner. She stood by the window and watched. The drinks he’d consumed finally caught up with him before he’d shucked his pants and drawers, “Hold on, I’ll be right back.” He was excited, which made urinating a challenge, but it had to be done, so that he could maximize his pleasure. When he stepped from the restroom, au natural, he saw that his latest conquest had done the same and now stood, bare to the world and staring out the window, all the curtains on it pushed to one side, so that the night loomed and the light of a single small desk lamp lit the room. He stalked over to her, ready to take her right there at the window in full view of anyone who looked up from the outside. He secretly hoped for an audience. He enjoyed having others watch him take what he wanted.
She turned to face him, her head lowered… no, it had sunken into her body, only her hair remained above her shoulders! A… mouth, gaping and slavering opened on her stomach, a mouth too large for her body and rimmed with rows of teeth like sharpened spikes. She stepped forward to embrace him and the screaming began… sounds that he was accustomed to eliciting from others rather than emitting from his own person.

“Rhino” was unhappy. He didn’t like to leave Darnell unattended. Perhaps now that his boss was in the room, he could go stand guard outside the door. He took care of some personal ablutions as he wolfed down a couple of energy bars and then walked out into the hallway. He started to settle in front of Darnell’s door, when he heard a muffled scream and faint… slobbering-gobbling noises come from the other side. He quickly tried the door, initially too panicked to think of the extra key card with which Darnell had entrusted him. He fumbled for it and soon had the door open. The interior was completely dark. The light from the hallway spilled inward but didn’t seem to reach as far into the room as it should.
He drew his pistol from the holster on his waistband and began to stalk forward, “Boss, you okay? You hurt?” The room was as silent as a tomb, he shivered a little as that thought crossed his mind. Over by the closed drapes, he smelled something awful: fresh blood and spilled entrails… recent death. His feet squelched on wet carpet. He turned around quickly. There had been no noise, but he’d felt a… presence. There she stood, arms spread wide, mouth on her gut spread wider. Rhino wasn’t one to scream or yell, even in extremis, so no others would come to this room to investigate.

Shelly was glad when the rowdy group left the roulette wheel that sat behind her favorite row of slots. The former “one-armed bandits”, that were now, “multiple button digital bandits” lined every available wall space, and in some spaces stood in rows that drew regulars like a dung-heap draws flies. She’d grabbed her favorite machine early in the evening and sat sliding in dollar bills and working up her points. It was called “Buffalo Dance” and featured images of American Bison and feather-bedecked hunters. The theme on the screen matched and she hoped to one day see the “White Buffalo” image adorn the entire set of images… the grand prize view. Despite the fun graphics, it was her favorite because it was near a restroom and a free soda and snack bar. She found herself ahead and on a roll. She absently lipped her dangling cigarette back into her mouth for a long draw. The smoke obscured the screen for a moment, and then she noted a shadow that lengthened across the reflective surface. Someone stood close behind her. Someone who exuded a chilly air. She paused and looked around, “Can I help you?”
There was no answer, though the shadow shifted slightly as if its caster had heard her.
Now she grew annoyed, this is just the sort of thing to break my winning streak! she raged internally. She braced her hands against the machine and worked her buttocks to make the stool on which she perched spin, so she could confront her harasser. She gaped, and nearly lost her cigarette, there was no one standing near enough to cast the shadow. No one even faced her. She chalked it up to excitement, maybe someone stepped too close when passing to go to the restroom, she thought, still a little annoyed and... chilled.
She turned back to her game and continued working the buttons, pumping in bills, and winning, a little at a time, the points now built well above her investment. This weekend is gonna pay for the last two months of losing and breaking even, she thought triumphantly. The shadow loomed across the screen once more, this time even larger, as though the figure that cast it stood closer. The shape was amorphous but hinted at anthropomorphic. She shivered as an icy breeze flowed around her, as though the air conditioning had sent out a short, cold burst, a minor malfunction…
She turned around with more alacrity and determination than the last time, mouth agape, cigarette once more dangling… precipitously and endangering the cleavage she displayed, already baked and wrinkled from years of sunbathing. The frigid air passed, and no one stood anywhere near her, though a customer approached, headed for either snacks or relief. “Excuse me sir, did you just see someone, maybe a large man, standing behind me?”
The man paused and looked at her in confusion. He had clearly been absorbed in his own thoughts, “Er, what? Uh, No. I wasn’t really paying attention, but… no.” He bustled on toward the free fountain drinks machine.
Shelly shrugged, can’t give up now, the pot is even bigger. She checked her points; she was nearing her all-time high. The winnings would pay her space rental fee at the RV park for the entire month. She pressed and played the buttons more fervently than ever, determined to break the bank on straight points or to reach that magical spin that would offer an instant reward of $10,000.00. She set her new points record and reveled for a moment. She reached for the now small stack of dollar bills the rest having been devoured by the machine. She fed in the entire remaining amount, then once more gazed at the screen. It was entirely blackened by a looming shadow.
The temperature of the air around her plummeted and she shuddered with the sudden biting cold. The cigarette was long extinguished, and she’d let the cold fag fall into the ash tray built onto the side of the machine opposite the drink holder. She was so cold, and she wanted to cry out for help, but the darkness closed in around her as the shadow enveloped her and cut off her breathing. Her fingers, paused above the “spin” button, struck and as her consciousness faded, she saw the flashing blue light and heard the blare of the winner’s siren. White Buffalo images filled all nine spaces. I won! The grand prize!

Terry filled his large cup and stood sipping and daydreaming. He’d lost everything he’d budgeted to lose. Yet he knew that one more try would put him back in black for this trip. He mused about what he would do with the prize money. He’d set his limit at $300.00 and had quickly lost it all on slots. Maybe he could risk just a few more dollars… skip a lunch or two until his next paycheck if it didn’t work. He was startled by the jackpot winner’s flashing light and siren that went off just behind him. That bitch! He yelled internally. Figures some old used up skank would win the big prize. He looked over at the nearby machine with anger and envy vying for control of his senses. She was gone!
He stepped over to the machine and looked around in confusion. Maybe she’d gone to the restroom? No, she’d have passed right by me. He shook his head and stepped up to look at the screen. He could still feel the recent presence of a player, the trace of warmth from a human body that might linger in a space for just a moment after the human had vacated the space. He looked around the casino floor, she was nowhere in sight. She’d been wearing a low-cut silver-spangled top that was cut way too low for her sagging, sun-ravaged bosom. She should be easy to spy, she looked like a deflated disco ball that had fallen from the ceiling to play slots. The only thing that came his way was a train of employees, led by a waitress in a skimpy outfit with purple sparkles and carrying a tray with a glass and a dark bottle. She was followed by other employees, who’d formed a sort of conga line: they sang a congratulatory chorus as they approached.
Terry gaped for a moment when he realized that they thought he was the big winner. He’d have to deny it of course. Surely the woman would be back at any moment to claim her prize. The floor cameras would have recorded who had sat at the machine, but it was too late. The group of enthused employees encircled him, and the attractive young waitress poured him a glass of champagne and snuggled up to him. The manager approached and seized his hand for a vigorous shake, “Well done sir! I see that not only have you hit the jackpot, but you’ve raised an additional $3,000.00 in points. A fabulous prize and well played I’m sure.”
Terry was flabbergasted. He’d never won anything like this… I still haven’t, not really, he reminded himself. He rarely broke even on his gambling forays, whether to the casino, or the corner store for lottery tickets and video slots. He allowed himself to be swept into the reverie and led from the machine to the bar. The employees peeled away as they approached, and he soon found himself with only the bottle and a receipt that he could cash out before he left the premises. A sullen-looking woman stood behind the bar, wiping glasses and a large, mean-looking security staffer menaced the far end. He already had his bottle, so he wasn’t sure why the staff members had deposited him with these two killjoys. He shrugged, picked up the champagne and started to walk away from the bar.
“You can’t take that with you. Either drink it here or give it to me and I’ll put it in the trash.” The bartender stated in monotone.
The security officer stood up straight from where he’d been leaning against the far wall, apparently propping up the building. He folded his massive arms in a threatening manner. Silly, thought Terry, folded arms should be a hindrance, but I get the feeling he’s dangerous regardless. He figured that he’d had enough anyway and set the nearly empty bottle on the bar, “You can keep it ma’am. I can afford another at the hotel.” Terry started to walk away from the bar, but a huge ham-like hand seized his shoulder.
Sausage-sized fingers applied painful pressure, “You apologize to the lady.” The wet heat from a mouth placed uncomfortably close to his ear and beath smelling of river bottom, sent a shiver of disgust through his body. The voice was low and deep as the river that ran past the back side of the property.
Terry decided on the better part of valor and head facing forward to avoid the obscene orifice, “Sorry ma’am, I meant no offense.”
The fingers let go and a harsh laugh sounded from behind the bar. “He don’t even know why he’s apologizing, fool. He ain’t worth the trouble, let him go.”
Terry felt a slight shove and he was sent on his way to the cash-out window. There he met with the lead cashier, an older woman in drab clothing, “I’m sorry sir, we give out only these pre-paid cards, we cannot provide cash over $1,000.00. However, you can treat them like a debit or credit card.” the cashier informed him. It seemed he had no choice, so he accepted. Thirteen grand is thirteen grand, he assured himself. He was elated, though he continued to glance around nervously, waiting for the woman in the sparkly fish-scale top to accost him and name him thief. Yet she was nowhere to be seen. The floor was full of players, some laughing, some intense, some dejected or mesmerized by the games of chance in which they’d lost themselves.
He thought about what to do with the rest of his evening. He didn’t have a hotel room; he’d planned to sleep in his station wagon as he always did before the long haul home. Perhaps he should get a room? Maybe they would take him without a reservation… he giggled a little at the unintended pun: a reservation at the Reservation… he shook his head to clear his overreaction to the silly internal joke. He decided that maybe someone on staff could help him. He approached the major domo at the front entrance that led to the interior walkway and the hotel beyond, “Excuse me sir, do you know whether the hotel will accept a resident without a prior reservation?”
The man, single dark braid wrapped in a leather holder and draped over one shoulder, looked at him gravely, “Yes, I know.” He said nothing more and did not smile as though he’d intended to be humorous.
Terry tried again, “Will you tell me please?”
The man flicked his chin in the direction of the hotel, “See the clerk at the desk.”
“Jerk, you’d think I hadn’t pissed away enough cash in this place over the past few years,” Terry muttered as he stumped toward the hotel, ensuring that he was well beyond earshot before he spoke. His head had begun to buzz a little from the champagne. Took a while for it to affect me, he mused. The hallway appeared to narrow, and his peripheral vision grew grey. He felt dizzy and as he entered the main lobby, the large room began to spin. His last view was of the sky-blue ceiling decorated with a few puffy clouds as it faded into darkness like the sun had set.
He awakened to the sounds of voices chattering happily. He looked around, his vision blurred slightly and his head feeling heavy and sore. He soon found that he could not move his arms or legs… they were bound… he was strapped to a table. He saw numerous bodies moving about in the mostly dark space in which he found himself. “Please.” He croaked, throat dry and feeling scraped. “Please, help me, let me loose. Loose me…” his perceptions cleared slowly, and he saw that the bodies that moved around him, now chanting rhythmically rather than babble-chattering, were emaciated. The owners showed as much bone through their skin as would a dead thing, long decayed. He noted spikes above a few heads… no, antlers… The rest wore… masks? Of various beasts… no, the skulls of those creatures, still filled with glistening fangs. Their dance grew ever more frantic, more energetic than they should be capable of performing. Then one of them reached out with a stick, on the end of which was a small claw, taken and preserved from some dead animal. It used the claw to gouge out a scoop of flesh from Terry’s side. He screamed in torment and horror. His screams soon matched the rhythm of the chanting and they went on for a long time before they at last faded when he’d lost too much blood to remain conscious.

The Tavern: Part 12

Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3 / Part 4 / Part 5 / Part 6 / Part 7 / Part 8 / Part 9 / Part 10 / Part 11 / Part 13
Well hello again! Instead of trying for some long-winded witty banter in the introduction, we'll skip right into the story. Buckle up, dear reader, and let's get ready to rumble!
Edit: In a terrible turn of events, I've just been sued by Michael Buffer for abusing his trademark on the phrase "Let's get ready to rumble!". But worry not! I've enlisted the help of the lawyers (not Nevik though) at BIRD to fight the case!
Edit2: In another terrible turn of events, I've just been sued by the lawyers at BIRD for abuse of their trademark and for libeling them in a fan-fiction.
Edit3: In more positive news, none of that actually happened. Hurray!
Edit 4: Hmm.. I guess I did try for the long-winded banter after all. Ah nuts.
Links to the rest of the story are, as ever, above.

The barmaid heard Connie's angry shout (for of course the angry shout came from Connie) and rushed over to see what was going on. She arrived just as Fee did to the corner of the tavern where Bacon and Isabelle had once been playing cards to find Connie and Mabyn having an argument. "What's going on" asked the barmaid worriedly. Connie ignored her, speaking to Mabyn again. "Where is she? Where's Isabelle?" she demanded angrily. Fee looked around and confirmed she couldn't see Connie's bunny mama anywhere. She then looked around again, just to make sure. She couldn't be too careful these days, what with how unreliable her eyes were being. But sure enough, there was no sign of the gigantic rabbit at all!
"I'll take 'what's in the box' for 600 elixir please Alex" Mabyn replied solemnly. Connie spluttered loudly. "What?!" she exclaimed, to which Mabyn also exclaimed "Ah what's in the box?". Nobody really understood what the jester was saying, but the barmaid had to try before Connie really got angry!
"What box, Mabyn?" she asked.
"Step right up, step right up! Spin the wheel to win a prize!" replied the jester excitedly as she threw a box into the air, which landed on the floor with a thud. "Isabelle!" Connie exclaimed again as she struggled unsuccessfully to prise open this strange box. "Open it Mabyn, right now!". Mabyn shook her head before pulling out a large roulette wheel and placing it on a nearby table. "I can't!" she said, "You have to spin the wheel! But who knows what you'll get! Will it be gems or potions? Bunnies or bombs?" the jester cackled as she continued "I hope it's bombs! I like big bombs and I cannot lie".
Connie looked like she was about to explode with rage, so the barmaid stepped in and tried to calm her down. Fee took this opportunity to look at Mabyn's wheel. There were six even segments and a little notch and flipper. If the wheel was spun, the flipper would tell her which segment it landed on! Each of the segments had a different icon, some which Fee could guess at ("Well, that icon looks like a bomb" she thought) and some had icons she couldn't figure out. An idea struck her, and she took the edge of the wheel in both hands and tried to spin it - Which to her surprise, worked! Around and around the wheel spun, and the barmaid, Connie, Mabyn and some of the other heroes gathered around curiously to see what was happening. The wheel began to slow and the flipper making loud clacking noises before finally coming to a stop.
"Congratulations! You've won.. Ah nuts, that's not a bomb" sad Mabyn sadly. The box opened suddenly, and out of it rose a pedestal with a red potion standing proudly in the middle. "A healing potion!“ said the barmaid, "that's useful. I wasted most of the last one of those that I had". But not everyone was so excited!
"Where's Isabelle!!" yelled Connie again, her face flush with anger. Fee watched in amazement as the wheel reformed before her eyes! The notch and flipper remained, but there was only segment now! She quickly called Connie over! "Look!" she said, "The icon has changed to a box with a bunny face! Maybe Isabelle is in the box?". Behind her, Mabyn nodded happily.
"Step right up, step right up, spin the wheel!" said the insane jester again excitedly, "What will you win?". She looked at the wheel and sighed
"Aww, I'm sorry ConCon, you can't win a bomb this time". Connie ignored her - she wanted her mama, not some stupid bomb - as she desperately tried to spin the wheel, but it was roasting hot to the touch and she jumped away, angrily sucking her sore fingers. Mabyn laughed "You can't spin it yet you silly Connie-bunny! You have to wait four hours for it to cool down". Connie growled again as Mabyn offered an alternative. "Or you can pay 50 gems to spin again now?"
"50 gems?" exclaimed Fee. "That's extortion!". Mabyn looked at her defensively as she replied - "But it's not my fault FeeBee! The developers did it!". The barmaid strongly considered whistling at the jester to stop her nonsense, but she let the woman continue, "Those sexy developers made my wheel like an extortion!". The purple-clad lady (who may not know what sexism is, and certainly doesn't seem to know what extortion is) sighed as she looked over at the barmaid. "I didn't even want to be a jester, you know? I wanted to be a lumberjack!"
The barmaid instantly recognised that a very immersion-breaking event was about to take place, so she quickly whistled shrilly at the jester before she could break into what the barmaid had correctly guessed was some kind of song. Then the barmaid had an idea.
"Connie, go outside at pick up 50 stones. Quickly!" she said to the furious Volma as she handed her a small bag. Connie wanted to disagree, but Fee pulled her friend outside and helped her fulfill the barmaid's strange request. Having quickly gathered 50 grey pebbles between them they hurried back into the tavern through the partially repaired hole in the wall and handed the bag to the barmaid, who immediately handed the bag to Mabyn, saying "there you go, 50 gems".
The jester laughed gently as she sat on the ground, took off her shoes and socks and began counting out the stones on her fingers and toes. She sang quietly to herself as she worked - "I put on women's clothing and hang around in bars!" she sang merrily. This did not surprise any of the patrons. Partly because Mabyn was crazy, and partly because she did put on women's clothing and hang around in bars. She was a woman in a bar right now for crying out loud! The gathered heroes looked on in confusion - These stones obviously weren't gems! Gems were blue! Stones come in many colours, dear reader, as we've established from Caldera and the almost-black rock creature (Tektite?), but as we've also established, these pebbles are grey!
And yet! As the barmaid knew, Mabyn is colour-blind and sees everything as either purple (purple things) or grey (everything else - Including blue gems)! What a(nother) cunning plan from our barmaid! The jester finished counting the "gems", having repeatedly gotten as far as 20 (because she's counting on her fingers and toes and is not very good at maths) and then given up and decided to trust the barmaid before throwing the bag of rocks in the air, after which it promptly vanished. Fee made a mental note to ask Mabyn where the bag had gone. And also how the jester's sceptre was also a hammer! And where she stored all her boxes! She also made a mental note to stop making so many mental notes and start asking the questions instead. Finally, she made a mental note to stop making mental notes about mental notes. At this rate it would become mental note inception!
"Step right up, step right up!" said Mabyn as she rose to her feet. "Spin the wheel, win a prize!". She tossed another box into the air, which landed with a thud. This new box was far too small to house a gigantic bunny, but Connie knew she had to try! She touched the wheel tentatively - It wasn't hot anymore! The barmaid's plan had worked! She nodded gratefully at the barmaid and gave the wheel an almighty spin. Around and around and around it spun, where would it stop? - Everybody knew! As has already been established, there was only one segment on the wheel - and it has a box with a bunny face on it. Sure enough the clacker clacked and the flipper flipped until eventually the wheel stopped on the only segment that existed. The box opened, and as the heroes and barmaid watched in amazement, a small pedestal rose up with Isabelle standing proudly (if awkwardly) on it. How the giant rabbit could even stand on such a small thing, only Mabyn knows!
"Isabelle!" cried out Connie for a third time. She was delighted and relieved! The bunny clambered down from the pedestal and gave her daughter a big hug.
Outside the tavern, Raida, Lancelot, Hogan, the almost-black rock creature (Amphibolite?) and the builders were busy carrying the wooden tables around the tavern and stacking then beside each other at the large hole near the front. Bolton, Leif and Masamune carried one table through the backdoor and into the tavern between them, but gave up after that. Bolton because he's not very strong and felt sad about it, and Masamune because he's kind of lazy (as well as being a bit of a jerk). Leif, meanwhile had given up trying to help as he was now in an utterly (hammer-related) foul mood. He followed Bolton and Masamune into the tavern and the three men dropped off their one table near where the insurance man sat, lonely and sad, before sitting around it and having a frank and honest discussion about all their emotional problems. This was a good thing of course, because as is known, dear reader, real men talk honestly with each other about their mental health.
"Hey!" exclaimed Masamune quietly as he picked up a sign reading 'Dragonz Rool OK' off of the table they had just sat at - "Where did this come from?". The others shrugged their shoulders and shook their heads in confusion while Koizuul snickered to himself as he floated outside through the giant hole he'd created - Just as he emerged into the sunlight, the water dragon transformed back into an oversized fish with a graceless thump. "Ach, who cares?" said Leif sadly. The others agreed and moved onto topics of real conversation.
"If you want a laugh," began Masamune, "I can tell you how Hogan makes his animals bigger?". Leif and Bolton shook their heads - "We alr'dy know tha' laddie" said Leif. "Yeah" murmured Bolton in agreement - "He begs them to get bigger. It's not that funny". Masamune was surprised and a little annoyed, but he had been outside telling Helios the barmaid's cunning plan to defeat Nevik, so he'd missed Hogan's dramatic and embarrassing revelation of his secret technique.
"You know" said Bolton, starting an actual topic of real conversation, "I really like Yan. But she thinks I'm a creep! How can I convince her I'm a good guy? I've tried sleazing on her, but that didn't work at all and I'm all out of ideas". Masamune dwelled on this as the men nodded in agreement. "Have you tried not sleazing on her?" he asked the mage - "I think she likes it when people don't sleaze on her". Leif spoke next, "I really miss me hammer lads" he said mournfully. The others didn't know how this related to Yan, but they nodded in agreement anyway. "But I like sleazing" said Bolton sadly, before continuing also quite sadly - "I don't know how to not sleaze on such amazing women. I wish women liked sleazing."
"I know right? And why don't they like random requests for marriage?" said the nearby insurance man, who had overheard the men talking. They nodded in agreement before inviting the lonely insurance man to join them, which he did. "Have you tried getting to know them first?" suggested Bolton, "I think they prefer to get to know you first". This reasonable suggestion was echoed as Leif piped up again "I really miss me hammer lads". Unsure of how Leif's hammer related the insurance man's Azura-marriage problem, the others nodded in agreement anyway. "But she stole my heart when she blew that kiss at me," continued the insurance man sadly - "I don't know how I can get to know such an amazing and beautiful moon girl when I was so madly in love with her. I wish I knew how to win her over."
"I know, right? And why can't I summon my ninjas without blood?" said Masamune, which had nothing to do with women, but it was what he was upset about. They nodded in confused agreement before offering their suggestions. "Couldn't you pay them to fight for you?" suggested the insurance man as Leif piped up again with another "I really miss me hammer lads". While this was also totally irrelevant to the ninja's problem summoning other ninjas, the men nodded in sympathetic agreement nonetheless. "I can't," replied the ninja sadly - "The ninja union negotiated the contract and the contract demands I pay them in blood. It's a weird union".
"I really miss me hammer lads" said Leif again sadly. The others realised Leif was stuck in a loop; They had to snap him out of it! "Can't you make a new one?" Bolton asked. "Yeah! Then you can be a Fix-it Felix Jr" exclaimed Masamune quietly. "What's a Fix-it Felix Jr?" asked the insurance man. The others didn't know, so they waited for Leif to answer.
"I cannae make another one" replied Leif - "Tis one of a kind is me hammer. Never to be replaced laddies. Never to be found again. Ach, lads. I miss me hammer and this knife thing is impossible!". The others nodded in agreement again, before the insurance man asked the question he really wanted know the answer to - What on earth is a Fix-it Felix Jr? The dwarf leaned back in his chair and sighed unhappily before replying - "A dream lad. It's a dream". The three human men looked at each other as they realised that they were all just like Leif, really. They were all just chasing their dreams at the end of the day.
So you see, dear reader, the effect of men talking honestly with each other about their mental health and emotional needs? It ends up being a bit sad, but also very poignant.
Raida heard the sound first as he dropped another table off beside the many others outside the front of the tavern. "What's that sound?" he yelled. The builders looked around, unable to see anything. Which was fairly normal, really. You usually can't see sounds. Koizuul, who had only just emerged from the tavern to help - and would take an awfully long time to help in his fish form - looked around too, but he couldn't see where the sound was coming from either. "Over there!" shouted Custard (for that wasn't his name, but it was what everyone seemed to call him), "something's in the sky!". Raida and the other builders looked at where the builder was pointing, before noticing there was at a great distance away indeed something floating around in the sky! And yet "Floating in the sky" is perhaps inaccurate, as rather, it was "crashing towards the ground" at a tremendous pace, and in truth, making a very unpoignant and loud sound as it did so. None of the gathered builders or heroes had eagle eyes so they watched slightly nervously as they considered beginning their own guessing game as to what this strange new object in the sky was. Koizuul, meanwhile, was both trying to transform back into a water dragon so he could help carry tables and also failing utterly to see any such object, mostly on account of his repeatedly aforementioned blindness and stupidity.
Narlax felt comforted somewhat by the horrendous smell of the void. Mostly because he didn't have a nose (as has been established, he's a rather strange dragon) which meant he only got a limited sense of the awful smell through his mouth. He felt nervous again, did this void dragon. He hadn't meant to corrupt the barmaid with the power of the unending void! “I didn't mean to corrupt the barmaid!" he whinged to himself quietly. A voice in the void responded.
"You didn't corrupt anyone, you impertinent inept idiot" the voice said - "Only the void can do that." Narlax recognised the speaker and turned slowly to greet the voice as it continued. "And you're not the void, little dragon."
"Lady Elara!" replied Narlax worriedly. He was almost as nervous of the speaker as he was of the barmaid's whistle! "How can you be sure?". Elara (for that was her name) floated into his view, emerging from the black nothingness of the void. Before him stood a tall, majestic woman with a short shock of purple hair, who as is known, was also floating. Behind her head and just above a black semi-circle floated a dark crescent moon, and in her hand she carried a long, double-headed axe. She looked negatively radiant (this is probably not a thing), and Narlax looked on in frightened awe at the goddess of darkness and chaos.
"Because, you facetious feeble-minded fool, the negative energy from the void is from the cosmic rifts I tear into time and space. I know where the negative energy goes and where it comes from. I'm a flipping goddess you flipping idiot! And I'm telling you that that barmaid was corrupted by the void mask, not you!"
Narlax winced, wishing he hadn't drawn the goddesses ire. He felt a little better though, knowing he hadn't in fact corrupted the barmaid. He had to try and change her mood with some good news, so he gave his report to the foul-mouthed purple-haired goddess.
"So I saw Yan, and she asked me to take her to the void again.. " he began, before trailing off.
With an unfurrowed brow, Elara replied - "And?" She had been right that Yan would crave the power of the void. That young time mage had always had more ambition than sense.
"And.. I did as you asked and brought her into the void.." he continued before trailing off.
"And?" said the goddess, her brow furrowing slightly. Narlax was a terrible story teller.
"And.. She got corrupted by it and attacked the tavern.." he said, before trailing off again.
"And?" said the goddess impatiently as her brow furrowed further.
"And.. She defeated Leif and Bolton, then got frozen by Efrigid and the barmaid took her mask away.." he continued before trailing off again, although he knew there wasn't much more to report than that, so he wasn't quite sure why he trailed off.
"And?" said the goddess unhappily, her brow furrowing into a sharp arch on her face.
"And.." began Narlax, who wasn't quite sure what to say next. His report was finished! Then from somewhere out of the void came a familiar voice.
"We've already done that bit!"
Narlax whirled around. "That's Raida's voice!" he thought to himself in surprise. He looked around for the blue warrior, but there was only the darkness of the void around him and Elara. "What was that?" he asked confusedly.
"It's that clumsy clunky coward Raida. He powers his charges from the void, remember?" replied the goddess of chaos - "He must have charged at something". Elara shook her head angrily. Her cunning plan involving corrupting Yan had failed! But she'd had another plan, and intended to get Narlax to explain how that had gone. Ideally, she thought, without him trailing off as if he had more to say.
"I told that impetuous ill-mannered insurance man to hire Nevik. Did he?" she asked. Narlax told her what had happened, from the arrival of the lich lawyer through to Yan's accusation that he had corrupted the barmaid. The goddess thought on this, then smiled.
"You shouldn't have helped them. But it would seem the mask was just destroyed, which means either those moron heroes figured that it was corrupting that barmaid, or else my sister arrived to save the day.." she trailed off, for no other reason than to give Narlax a taste of his own medicine. After the inevitable "And?" from the confused purple dragon, she continued - "And, I'd bet your trashy twisted tail those idiots didn't figure out a thing. It was my sister. She's there."
Narlax thought on this, then asked the first question that came to mind - "How do you know the mask is destroyed?" he asked. The goddess glared at him as she replied "Because like I told you already, you bumpy bloody blister, I know where negative energy goes and where it comes from!". She continued calling him alliteratively insulting names as he, like Fee and Yan had done not long before him, wished he hadn't asked a question that had already been answered by a goddess not five minutes before. He waited for the stream of insults to end before he asked his next question.
"Yes goddess, sorry goddess. But why do you want to destroy the tavern so badly?" he asked. He didn't want the tavern destroyed. While he found Smoulder unbearable, he kind of liked the other heroes, like Helios and Raida. "Plus it has those gnarly 'Dragonz Rool OK' tables!" he thought to himself in an ironically hippy-ish manner. He liked those! It slowly occurred to him that maybe the goddess of darkness and chaos was actually one of the bad guys! He was a hero now! He couldn't work for the bad guys, could he?
"I don't care about the tragically traumatised tavern, you cretinous choleric cesspool of idiocy" snapped Elara - "I knew my sister would go to help them, the little goody-two-shoes can't help herself. Now that I know she's there, I'm going to finish our rivalry once and for all. Darkness and chaos will rule the realms forever!".
And with that worrying threat hanging in the air, the woman disappeared into the void, leaving Narlax alone.

Ultimate & fun end game content: A special event once every hour that only 1 person on the server wins with unlootable plans you automatically learn upon killing to avoid duping. With 100 different plans all of them enough to build a full working casino. Your casino? your profit(1 cap per play)

Wallpapers, various slot machines, card tables, roulette, ornaments, lighting, stage, bars. Could even be 200 plans. Sky's the limit.
Once per hour a PDQ-88b RobCo security model 2060-B securitron randomly spawns on the map(Event is only on public servers) The first person to find it and kill it doesn't get a lootable plan. They see an image of what they got and it goes straight to a new casino category in the build menu. Maybe one robot is too few so it could be 3 and once someone kills one the other two disappear. One winner per server per hour. You never get the same item twice. Game will always give you a plan you don't have.
I think it'd be a blast and it would make end game content that could last for a very very long time. To be fair to all the robot can be killed with one hit so the low levels can win too and it ensures only one person wins. 100% equal and fair for everyone.
Lets say you have a slot machine in your camp. You can bet various amounts and it acts as a cap sink between us and Bethesda. But every time you spin or every time you play any kind of game the person whose camp you're in gets 1 cap out of your bet. Build yourself a nice casino and you could make some decent caps.
Basically all cosmetic and unrelated to anything else in the game. I love the scorch christmas event and mole miner pails. Fun running around after them. Something like this I could see every player faithfully running around trying to find these things. Event comes up showing it's out there somewhere and it stays active until someone gets it. Then it shows the players name who got it and we can all run over to their camp to see what they got lol.
People would love a casino. This gives it to them and it would give the game purpose and reason again. It would just need to be implemented so it's impossible to dupe anything.

"Conform" (oc) poem by me 2013.

This is life or death so don't lose the bet, It's a deadly game of russian roulette. Cross your fingers and wish to the skies, Take heed or die; Show them the fear in your eyes. Maybe it will end and there will be no pain, Maybe it won't and you'll end up alone in the rain. Hanging on the edge of what life gives you, What is there left to do but jump or go back to what you've been through? Maybe it's neither so I create my own path, Was that the wrong answer will I now feel lifes wrath? Is making my own world better making problems bigger? The roulette starts...hold your breath...pull the trigger. Freeing the air from my lungs I open my eyes, I had my fingers crossed and my wish is lost in the skies. Follow the path maybe you'll stay fine, Keep walking forward; Don't color outside the line. I decide to paint my own picture but will that make problems bigger? Roulette has now ended...because I held my breath...and pulled the trigger.

Manchester City Preseason Guide

As per usual, expect these things to change by the start of the new season, especially if a new forward is signed. As a guide, (?) means that the player is in the Manchester City squad but not in the game and (??) means that the player is a rumored signing for the Sky Blues.
TLDR: De Bruyne and maybe Foden if you are feeling spicy.
Goalkeepers:
Ederson (£6.0): Although the city stopper claimed his first golden glove for the club since Joe Hart, he still returned his lowest amount of FPL points last season. At 6.0, He is still a premium goalkeeper who will likely still face problems getting points unless a player like Koulibaly is signed. Key errors in games such as the Manchester United and Lyon illustrate that Ederson is not 100% trustworthy. However, a more direct approach from Guardiola can benefit Ederson in terms of potential assists.
Verdict: .5 too much, avoid for now but keep an eye out for him
Bravo (£4.5): Not sure why he is still in the game, he's going to be off in the summer
Verdict: Avoid
Steffen (£?): The U.S.A. international is set to return from his loan spell in the Bundesliga. Although he impressed throughout the season, Steffen will surely be #2 to Ederson in the pecking order throughout the season. He will likely be priced at around 4.5 as well but he will only have value if Ederson goes down with an injury
Verdict: Only viable if Ederson gets a long term injury
Defenders:
Walker (£6.0): Oh Kyle Walker. A great footballer in real life but provides questionable value regardless that he scored miles ahead of any other city defender. His spot in the starting 11 should be the most nailed on amongst outfield players next season. If City strengthens their defense, he will provide additional value with his clean sheets. A true lack of contribution in the final third hampers Walker's potential, but he will likely rank amongst the top-scoring defenders at City next season.
Verdict: Too expensive for his value due to his lack of end product. Avoid
Otamendi (£5.0): I bet most Manchester City fans already thought he left the club. Although he was the 2nd highest FPL scoring defender for City last year, expect him to put up a fat 0 points this season.
Verdict: Avoid!!!
Ake (£5.5) After Laporte's less than impressive game against Lyon in the Champions League, Ake has become a more intriguing prospect. That being said, the odds of him beating out the Frenchman to the starting left center-back position is unlikely, especially at the start of the new season. If Laporte happens to go down again with another injury, Ake would be a great player. It is also worth noting that Guardiola may deploy Ake at left-back and defensive midfielder throughout the season, but he will largely only serve a rotational purpose.
Verdict: Avoid for now
Mendy (£6.0): Perhaps one of the most overpriced players in the game. He recently lost his place in the starting 11 to an out of position Joao Cancelo. Mendy will likely only be a rotational left-back this season, splitting time with both Cancelo and Ake. Adding into account his injury risks and lack of consistency just makes this problem worse. Unless Mendy has a true breakout season, 6.0 is far too expensive for the leader of the Shark Team.
Verdict: Mostly likely avoid all season
Laporte (£6.0): The heart of our defense. Although he has a few bad games a season, he is by far the best defender at the club at this moment. An early injury ruled him out for several months and took away the possibility for a great season. This season, however, Laporte could prove to be an effective choice in the Man City backline. This is largely dependent on who will partner him come the start of the new season.
Verdict: Only for those with lots of faith in City's defending.
Fernandinho (£5.5): The ever-present Brazilian in the Manchester City lineup for the past few seasons may be taking a step back this season as additional competition complied with his aging limbs will likely deem Dinho fantasy irrelevant. The same price as Ake, I expect Dinho to play fewer minutes than his new teammate this season, although a greater proportion of them may be in midfield. For FPL, Dinho has never been a viable option. This season, I expect the trend to continue
Verdict: Only a lunatic would pick him.
Zinchenko (£5.5): Things do not look good for the Ukrainian rapper. Not only did he lose his spot to both Mendy and Cancelo, but additional competition in Ake (and in theory Angelino) will only help plummet Zinchenko's stock. As a traditional midfielder, Zinchenko may prove to have value if he gets loaned out to another team should they choose to play him further up the pitch. As for now, I wouldn't place my bets on Zinchenko to have value this season.
Verdict: Look out for a potential loan.
Cancelo (£5.5): Joao Cancelo. The right-back turned left-back that only recently has proven to be trusted by Pep Guardiola. Not trusted enough, however, to avoid extra competition with the signing of Ake. I expect Cancelo to start the season for Manchester City at left-back barring any new left-back signings, but I am skeptical of his ability to put up points for our fantasy teams.
Verdict: Risky and expensive differential
Garcia (£5.0): Before the news broke out that Garcia has desires to go back to Barcelona, I believed that the future looked bright for the young Spaniard. Garcia started in most of Manchester City's games following the resumption of the league and although he had to be babysat by Laporte in those games, he showed enough for me (and Pep) to rate him over Stones, Otamendi, and Dinho at that position. Should City fail to sign another center-back, they will likely refuse to sell him to Barcelona this transfer window. If so, he would have great potential at 5.0.
Verdict: Solid investment if City keep him + Don't buy Koulibaly/Other CB
Stones (£5.0): I won't go too in-depth on this one. Stones' City career is likely coming to an end unless they decide to sell Garcia and keep Stones as their 4th center back. Even so, he wouldn't produce much value. If Stones goes to another top half team in England, he could have some potential. A loan move to Arsenal could be best for both the Gunners and the Sky Blues.
Verdict: Only viable if he gets a move to another top half Prem side.
Angelino (£?): Quick special mention to Angelino, who will likely leave the club this summer.
Verdict: Avoid
Koulibaly (£??): Technically not a City player, but after City's disappointing loss to Lyon, he should surely be a Sky Blue this transfer window. If so, he could provide value along-side Laporte. At 6.0 Koulibaly would stabilize City's defense and probably play more minutes than Laporte next season. As a result, he would likely be one of City's highest-scoring defenders.
Verdict: Depends on transfer and price
Midfielders:
De Bruyne: (£11.5): The first name on my FPL team. De Bruyne scored the most points amongst all players last season and is still priced less than some of them. The Belgian midfielder has been wonderful in his time at the Etihad and his attacking returns should only continue to be magnificent next season. With more determination than ever, and possibly another striker to assist, De Bruyne should offer amazing value next season. If you can only find room for one City player, make it KDB.
Verdict: Immense value, easy pick.
Sterling (£11.5): Sterling, if he could stay consistent, would have been the highest-scoring play in FPL last year. After an amazing start to the season, Sterling lost his form. Now with Sane gone and only a young Ferran Torres in to replace him, Sterling has more responsibility on his shoulders than ever before. His recent form and insane miss against Lyon may raise some red flags about the Englishman, but he should still provide the 2nd move value amongst City midfielders next season.
Verdict: Less value for money than KDB, but keep an eye out for how he starts the season
Mahrez (£8.5): Another player who gets trapped in Pep Roulette. Mahrez played brilliantly last season but with the emergence of Phil Foden (who likes to play out wide) and the signing of Ferran Torres, Mahrez may see another significant cut into his minutes next season. Should he start the season strong, however, he may be able to nail down a spot in Guardiola's team for the first few game weeks.
Verdict: Risky differential
Bernardo (£7.5): After his breakout season in 2018/19, hopes were high for Bernardo Silva. This season, however, he failed to impress and was largely omitted from the starting 11 for the games following the resumption of the league, including crucial Champions League games. With his desire to stay at Manchester City made public, Bernardo can offer amazing value-for-money if he can hit the ground running next season. The absence of David Silva now opens up the possibility of Bernardo playing centrally more often, which can only benefit the Portuguese international.
Verdict: Great potential but Pep doesn't seem to trust him in big games
Rodrigo (£5.5): Defensive midfielders never really provide great value in FPL.
Verdict: Avoid
Foden (£6.5): The English wonderkid that took the Premier League by storm following the resumption of the league looks set to fight for his chance to play consistent minutes. His start in the crucial second leg against Real Madrid further proves that Pep has confidence in the young man. If he can nail down a spot, either centrally or out on the wings, Foden can easily be the best asset to own given his price. Ambitious managers looking for a differential may look Foden's way, but that largely depends on what happens between now and the start of the season.
Verdict: Could be the gem of the season, although he could also largely spend time on the bench.
Gundogan (£5.5): See Rodrigo
Doyle (£4.5): Tommy Doyle is an exciting young prospect but he is a few seasons away from a real impact on the first team.
Verdict: Avoid
Torres (£7.0): Although he has been priced relatively cheaply for a City winger, I would urge caution with it comes to the Spaniard. Guardiola will most likely use the same approach he did when bringing Sane to the squad in that he will only really fully integrate the player after the end of the 2020/2021 season. If there was no redraft every year, Torres would be a good pick, but for this upcoming season, he shouldn't have much value.
Verdict: Wait for 2021/22 season
Braaf (£?): Braaf may be implemented into the game later this season, but he will likely fail to have any value once he is in. Along with Torres and Doyle, Braaf is one to watch out for a few seasons down the line.
Verdict: Wait a few seasons
Forwards:
Jesus (£9.5): A whole million cheaper than Aguero, Jesus offers a potential entryway into the City attack. However, I believe that there are better options given his price tag and his rotational with Aguero (or another striker) will likely hinder any breakout season for the Brazilian. If Jesus can improve on his end product, he will have value. As for now, however, it seems too risky to pick him given all the transfer rumors surrounding a new city striker.
Verdict: Keep an eye on him, but avoid for now.
Aguero (£10.5): Every year, Aguero scores an absurd number of goals given his fitness problems and rotation with Jesus. That being said, Aguero may face additional competition if City sign another forward. With 12 months left on the Argentine's contract, this may be the last season we have the forward in the game. In my opinion, his pricing makes him a huge risk this season, although I'm sure he would love to prove me wrong!
Verdict: Club favorite, but may not be an elite FPL option anymore for that price.
Messi (£??): Just kidding. Unless...
Thanks for taking the time to look at my guide, I will be updating it over time throughout pre-season. I would greatly appreciate it if you could either upvote or leave a comment with some feedback as this is my first ever preseason guide. If you disagree with any of my comments, send me a message as I would love another viewpoint on this.

HUUUGE Casino / Billionaire Casino - Easy 5000 SB each

Both of these games are the same, by the same company. You can do both offers, and if you haven't completed these offers previously, I highly recommend nabbing this easy $100.
If you want to complete easily, play Slots until lv 65. At level 65, you'll need about 200-300m chips to hit 150. You can either gamble for the chips, or buy them with money. Ideally, you'll hit a moderate or large jackpot around 65-70 or so to give you a good chip boost. Note: if you purchase chips with money, the amount you get from your offer depends on your current level. Your first purchase is also considerably larger than subsequent purchase offers, so keep that in mind as well.
If you want to go the 100% pure free route, pray you win a decent jackpot at the 60+ level range. Usually playing the 1m slots will eventually nab you a 100-200m payout. They give away chips on their Facebook page daily. Joining a high ranking active club can also net you a tidy sum of chips. My advice is if you are utterly broke on chips and don't want to insert coin, use the free daily FB chips, the club chips, the free chips from the 15m timer, and the shop chips. Accumulate about 30-40m, then sit and play some 1m slots of your choice. I heard Wizard of Oz and Sky Gods are both decent payers.
After you have enough chips, sit at the Roulette table for 10m. Make sure to sit at a private table (hold down the table button to select a Private Table) so it goes quicker. Bet 5m black and 5m red. Repeat (use the Rebet function) until you are the desired level. You will lose 5% of the time, but you're playing to tie and regain your 10m bet rather than outright win. You'll also gain some chips by leveling, and every level after 80 will result in a 5 min 2x XP buff which will accumulate, since it takes less than 5 minutes to level.
Getting to 150/160 takes about 6-8 hours. Getting to 200 will take you 20-24 or so. If you are doing lv 200, I highly suggest saving your bronze Lottery Tickets for when you need a break. There's a 24hr 2x XP buff in those that you can win. Also, Lottery Ticket prizes increase in amount depending on your current level. Don't use them early!
I finished both HUUUUGE and Billionarie in a day each. https://imgur.com/yAidtvX
Good luck!

Big5 Casino had some games I’ve never played before, and I was happy to find a few titles I immensely enjoyed:
In addition to rare gems like these, Big5 also has all the popular games the majority of gamblers enjoy. Here, you’ll find Finn and the Swirly Spin, Aloha! Cluster Pays, Starburst, and Northern Sky.
Got tired of slot machines? If so, open any of the casino’s other sections filled with card and table games.
Play Single Deck Blackjack, Oasis Poker, Baccarat Gold, or French Roulette - the choice is yours!
The page is available in the following languages: English, German, Norwegian, Swedish, and Finnish.

A Lot of Live Games for Real Casino Players

As there are lots of online casinos that don’t offer live games, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Big5 has not one, but two different live casinos.
One is developed by Microgaming and the other - by NetEnt.
Scroll through their games and choose the one that appeals to you the most. Interact with your live dealer and see the outcomes of the cards or the roulette ball in real-time.

However, not all games are available when you access the site on mobile.
At the moment, there is no Big5 Casino app available for download.

Sunset Spins Casino Review

Sunset Spins is the latest casino from Nektan and you can certainly see their fingerprints all over this beautifully designed site. The overall impression is one of a retro 80s California dream. The background features the silhouette of palm trees against a sunset sky with hues of purple, red and yellow. The logo mirrors this colour scheme, sitting proudly in the top left of the screen, while just below this a rolling banner shows the main promotions currently on offer.
If you’ve ever visited more than a few Nektan casinos the layout is one you should be familiar with. The website template is the same one they use for many of their other sites. Nektan obviously work by the old adage that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The bulk of the screen is filled with slots titles, with 32 smaller tiles and 2 large ones at the top. If this sounds overcrowded then don’t worry. Somehow they manage to squeeze a lot in on Sunset Spins and still give you room to breathe. It’s no mean feat but it’s a welcome one.

About Sunset Spins Casino

The Sunset Spins Casino is ran by Nektan Limited Casinos, a prolific group of casino operators and game developers who run Monster, Fortune Frenzy, Betreels and Reel Vegas. Perhaps the best known site they operate is The Sun Play, the casino site of the British tabloid newspaper. Nektan also have a deal with LeoVegas, providing their unique slots games for integration into the brand. Most recently the group signed a deal with Come Dine With Me to create a bingo site based on the popular UK TV show.
The group are ran out of Gibraltar under the regulation of the Gibraltar Gambling Commission and in the UK by UK Gambling Commission. A search for the company on the UK Gambling Commission’s website shows that Nektan have no recorded sanctions against them from the commission.

A Host of Developers

Sunset Spins is a site which not only offers a huge amount of slots and casino games to punters, but also offers games from a wide range of developers. Surprisingly for a company which develops its own games it doesn’t try especially hard to push its own content. At the time of writing the two featured games on Sunset Spins are Wild Wild West and Starburst, both of them from the excellent team at NetEnt. Other games featured include Moby Dick by MicroGaming and Pegasus by Inspired. Sunset Spins offer games from a total of 18 developers so there is plenty of variety to be enjoyed.

Sunset Spins Casino Games

In the casino section of the site Sunset Spins finally pushes its own creations a little, with the top two titles of roulette and blackjack both being developed by Nektan. That’s not to say Nektan are your only options, the site also offers casino games from NetEnt, Realistic Games, Felt and Extreme Live Gaming. The live versions of casino games are provided by Extreme Live Gaming giving you the closest thing to a casino experience from the comfort of your home.

Sunset Spins Casino Bonuses

Sunset Spins has a 100% deposit match bonus for all new members up to the value of £10. If you qualify you also get 10 free spins worth a value of 10p per spin on Starburst. That means there is a total sign up bonus of £11 for all new members. This isn’t the best signup offer we’ve ever seen but it is still better than nothing at all. This bonus is also subject to a 30x wagering requirement so keep that in mind.
The site further has a win boost Wednesday offer. On Wednesday all winnings above your deposit figure are calculated and given a 10% boost. You must deposit a minimum of £10 on the day to qualify for the win boost but if you’re playing anyway this is not exactly a hardship. The win boost is capped at £50. The site has further offers and spin bonuses but most of these are capped at fairly low levels which gives the impression that Sunset Spins is aiming for a more cautious type of gambler, or one who only bets small amounts daily.
>> Claim Free Spins Bonusese <

Sunset Spins Casino Banking

Sunset Spins doesn’t have a dedicated banking page, but for most queries regarding finances the FAQ does a reasonable job of explaining what procedures the company follows. Sunset Spins accepts payment from a number of credit cards and vendors including: Visa, Mastercard, Neteller, Paysafe, Skrill, Trustly and Zimpler. The site further accepts payment from Boku, the payment services company which operates using your mobile phone number. This payment method allows you to pay for items by providing your mobile number and has the value of that payment added to your phone bill.
The maximum you can deposit into your casino account with Boku is £30 per day. Just remember that Boku payments are charged at 15% so only £25.50 of the payment is actually credited to your casino account. For all other deposit methods the casino has no charges. The company restricts punters to one withdrawal every 24 hours. The minimum withdrawal figure is £20 and the maximum is £2,000. Withdrawals may take 72 hours for the company to check before processing. As is often the case you need to provide photographic ID such as a driver’s licence as well as a utility bill to provide proof of address in order to complete some cash withdrawals.

Conclusion

Although Sunset Spins does not set itself apart from other casinos in Nektan’s catalogue, it is a very nicely produced and developed endeavour. The site looks gorgeous and while it cannot literally transport you to California’s sun-kissed coastline it does capture some of the feel of the OC. Although Nektan are an experienced operator of both casinos and games the site takes care not to push Nektan titles above all others. The range of titles on offer is excellent so there are plenty of options to keep your entertained.
A signup bonus at any site is always a welcome thing but at Sunset Spins the £10/£11 on offer does seem a little light. The inescapable conclusion is that Sunset Spins is a site that is aiming for low-rollers rather than high. Casino operators love small but consistent profits, much more than some punters realise. If you’re a little bit more cautious in your gambling and like to take the slow and steady approach then maybe a site like Sunset Spins could be ideal for you.

Haven't had a bet in 3 and a half years, struggling tonight.

Hi all,
I've been free of gambling since march 2017, before that I was a problem gambler but managed to get free with the help of GA. I've never done online gambling before in my life, it was all in casinos and bookies. I saw someone play roulette on sky bet earlier today and it reminded me how fun it is. How much I can win. All the bills i could pay and things I could buy if I won. This is the first real urge I've had in 2 years or so. I actually went to set up the account and then decided I need to try something to stop myself, so I came here. I'm so close to setting up an account and trying it. I'm right on the cusp. I can't find any voice inside of me telling me not to, but I know deep down I shouldn't. The urge is very very powerful though. Is anyone around to chat? It's 1am where I am and all my gamblers anonymous friends are asleep.
EDIT
I made it through the night and feel better, the urge is gone. I wouldn't have if I hadn't have come here. Thanks so much everyone for your support. What have a learnt from this? Don't watch someone gamble thinking you're totally cured. I got that urge purely because I was watching my friend play and getting into it. Be on guard. For people early in their recovery, I can't tell you how much easier it gets as time goes on. I personally go whole years without having a real urge. But they do come back and its important to accept it and ride the wave and if you feel totally powerless like I did last night, come somewhere like here or speak to someone first. Stay strong all.

b-Bets Casino Review

Introduction

Regardless of whether you are anticipating for your favorite football club to score a goal, or if you need that multiplier wild to land in the right position for the big win, b-Bets casino is the place where all this is possible.
This is an online casino and sportsbook founded on experience, as it was started in 2014. The company has an operating licence from the government of Malta which means players can enjoy a secure, legitimate i-gaming site where wins are paid in cash.
Some of the highlights that deem b-Bets a popular destination are the auctions in the sportsbook part of the site, the slots competitions and a rather sizeable offering of bonuses and promotions that all registered players can claim more than just one time.
Our casino experts' b-Bets Casino review takes into consideration all elements that cover the site in its entirety. Our conclusion is that this site can rank in the top of the medium-level casino tier, very close to big fish out there. Needless to say, it is definitely worth checking it out.

Online Slots and Providors

We mentioned there are more than 30 providers at b-Bets, but who all is exactly on that list? We can mention few and anyone that wants to explore the rest is welcome to claim the b-Bet casino bonus and play.
Some of the companies are iSoftBet, NetEnt, Microgaming, Betsoft, Play'n GO, Quickspin, Big Time Gaming, Booming Games, Pragmatic Play and many other big and exclusive studios.
b-Bets Casino has two strengths if we really have to make such a distinction. Online slots are one, thanks to a huge list of games that come from more than 30 top-level providers. The selection of slots includes new games, popular games, as well as jackpot slots, some of which offer prizes of more than 25,000x times your bet.
Pro players out there can look up a game they know for its potential by using the search button. New and casual players can take their pick from the lot of games by checking out new titles, popular, varourites, jackpots and so on. More than 500 online slots are accessible both on the b-Bets casino mobile site as well as on personal computer.
>> Claim Free Bonus Now <<

Table and Live Casino Games

In all objectivity, the list of virtual casino games isn't as high as the sky, but it offers enough table and card games, and a variety thereof, to provide the players with solid options.
Browsing the b-Bets casino website opens up several categories: poker, baccarat, roulette, blackjack and video poker. If anyone is up for instant scratch cards, these are available also. And just in case, the 'Other Games' category offers several bingo games, keno, craps, virtual racing games and more.
One of the most sought-after platform for online casino gaming are live dealer games. These are provided by solid operations only and b-Bets casino is one of those. Players can explore few dozen games that can be played online but against the dealer live. Games include varieties of poker, blackjack, hold'em, baccarat, roulette, but also football studio, monopoly live and more.

b-Bets Casino Promotions and Bonuses

Slots players can enjoy a bonus galore via EkstraPoint by claiming the offer for new players. So those who have never played at b-Bets casino, this is your chance to seize your key.
The bonus offer provides a 100% match-up on your deposit for up to €250. On top of that, b-Bets is going to add 100 free spins as part of the welcome offer.
This may be the best offer for new players, but it isn't the only one. Those who register can receive additional promotions via email, as well as regular promotions such as Free bet Fridays, daily free spins and more.

Vip Program

One of the highlights that makes b-Bets casino stand apart form other casinos are the Auctions.
These represent a loyalty offer, which is an ongoing thing that's available to all players.
The way it works is, claiming bonuses adds BidBet credits. These can be used to make bids on different bonuses such as cashbacks, free spins, deposit offers and more.
What is more, simply playing casino games and betting on sports matches causes points to add up. Every €20 distributed in bets on any slot game adds 1 BidBet point.
BidBet points can accumulate over time and provide a nice package of credits that can be applied to any of the list of options that are available on the website.
>> Claim Free Bonus Now <<

b-Bets Casino Mobile Experience

The quality of the gaming experience comes from the quality of the website. The b-Bets casino mobile site is state of the art, but only because the desktop site is so stellar.
Players can navigate both with ease and explore the gaming categories that have neatly collected slots, casino games and promotions according to style, jackpot size, date of release and so on.
Some players don't have a favorite slot or casino game and if you are one, don't worry a bit. B-Bets casino has a ticker on the homepage that shows the latest winners, with the amounts they've won as well as the game. To some, this gives an idea what slot game to play next.
Of course, there are many other niceties about the site, such as the ability to log in with Facebook, Google or Twitter, the option to place limits or to self-exclude, which is in line with the company's safe gaming commitment, and more.

b-Bets Casino Payment Methods

b-Bets casino enables players to make a deposit by using some of the world's most popular services. These include MasterCard, Visa, Skrill, NetEller, Paysafecard, ecoPayz, Interac, Siirto, Instadebit, Zimpler, bank transfer and more.
Minimum amount for deposits is €10.00 and the minimum for withdrawals is €20.00 per transaction.

b-Bets Casino Support and Security

Getting in touch with b-Bets casino is easy. The website offers a live chat and email option. All inquiries are responded to at the fastest ability of the b-Bets help desk.
In terms of security, the website has 128-bit encryption and protocols that enable players to log in securely, make transactions and enjoy privacy, as the company complies with the laws and regulations of the Malta Gaming Authority.

Conclusion

Players who want to have slots, casino games and a sportsbook handy should not overlook the b-Bets casino bonus for new players. Signing up is secure and takes a couple of minutes, only to avail more than 500 online slots, a whole variety of casino games, live casino and a sportsbook that has the world’s best football leagues, and more.

TopCashBack & Quidco Gambling Mega Post

Hey BeerMoneyUK gang, I've been trawling through the TCB & QuidCo gambling offers for a couple years now, and I thought I would do a bit a write up for when you should do each one.
Through the year, each of the gambling sites offer various amounts of cashback for x amount deposited & wagered. I've seen (and capitalised on) most of them so I thought I would compile the best ROIs for each site I have used.
Buckle up, this may be a long one:
TopCashBack:
Ref Link
Non Ref
From best to worst:
Betfair Casino
Betfair casino have only shitty offers available right now, but through the year they have two offers which are great depending on what you want to invest, so wait for one of these to appear:
Kitty Bingo
They currently don't have any offers running, but when they do, wait for the:
Give Back Bingo
They currently don't have any offers running, but when they do, wait for the:
Regal Wins
They currently don't have any offers running, but when they do, wait for the:
Magical Vegas
They currently don't have any offers running, but when they do, wait for the:
Spin & Win
They currently don't have any offers running, but when they do, wait for the:
Coral Casino
This one is currently live and has the best offer I've seen to date (better than when I did the deal the first time):
Lotto Land
The best offers are currently running and they don't change much through the year and roi is fairly small but the best two are:
Paddy Power Casino
The current offer is 10 in 17 out, but wait for this to increase in coming months. The best offers that have appeared are:
Football Index
You're almost guaranteed to get 100% of your wager back if you just buy and sell the players quickly. No current offers but the two to look out for are:
Pokerstars
Pokerstars currently have a deposit £25 for £25 back but it's best to wait for the below offer. If you're half decent at poker (or know how to hedge your bets well on roulette) you're almost guaranteed your deposit back after wagering.
Sky Vegas / Casino
No current offers, and they'er stingy fuckers so the best offer is only £5 guaranteed return, but again if you wager on the right shit you'll get most of your deposit back.
Sun Bingo
No current offers but when they come back the best one will be:
Lucky Pants Bingo
No current offers but when they come back:
Lucky VIP Casino
No current offers but when they return the best is:
Deposit & Wager Matched
Offers from these sites never give any guaranteed ROI, you just earn what you win as they match your deposit & wager whatever the number is (all between £10 and £30)
QuidCo:
Ref Link
Non-Ref
There aren't many quidco offers that beat the topcashback ones, the only two that come to mind are:
Gala Bingo
No current offers but the one to go for when they are back is:
  • Deposit and wager £5 for £50 cashback
Foxy Bingo
No current offers but when they're back:
  • Deposit and wager £10 for £40 cashback
As you will have read, most gambling sites aren't quite ready to return to the cashback websites yet, especially not with their best offers. This will serve as a guide to the best offers to capitalise on when things are back to normal.
If you check TCB and QCo once a week you'll catch all of the above offers in the next year, as most offers run for a week minimum. Any offers running less than a week and I or somebody else will likely post about them.
Peace
